You love to see the best show on TV generating so much good discussion.

Also not enough love for lego tv series and games in here. Those lego star wars console games were solid entertainment. The tv series were decent light hearted entertainment also.

A strong foundation of a variety of IP products have led to the creation of the masterpiece Acolyte show.

You also forgot to include maybe the best of the animated series in your list the second SW Clone Wars that came out in 2008 with 133 episodes.

Because that isn't between 1997-2005

For some reason the other clone wars show isn't listed on the wiki.

LINK

Edit: Ah, it's listed under mini series and shorts.

But there are also another 100+ episodes of Disney Star wars content there, so that just increases the past 6 years lead even more.

Is who needs creative control over SW.

Except Fett he really dropped the ball on, and SW Resistance was not as good as CW or Rebels though it had a great appeal to younger fans of SW.

He created Ashoka and reached into the EU to pull Thrawn into canon. Again, Disney has all the supporting material out there in the EU to bring SW back to the top for decades.

Plag and Palp tried to create a vergeance, and the Force reacted by creating Anakin to balance the Force, thereby fulfilling the birth part of the prophecy.

I know all this just that it never made it into canon/movies. It was considered but I think Lucas purposely wanted this left unanswered.

I saw this analogy in regard to Jedi, Sith, Light and dark side of the force. The view shows how they are different and interact.

quote:

The force is a valley. The galaxy is part of that valley. The dark side is the river that runs through it, and the light side is the river bank.

The valley would decay and die without the river. But when the river overruns the riverbank, it floods and destroys the valley. The riverbank must be strong so as to not permit the river from overflowing. It will never destroy the river, no matter how strong. It'll only protect the valley.

So, while the Jedi can stand in for the light and protect the riverbank, the Sith are not the river. Rather, they are trying to destroy the riverbank so that it may flood the river.

The Sith are not the dark side. The Sith are using the dark side to pervert the valley. Darkness, like the river, is not intrinsically bad. In fact, it's even necessary for the valley's health. But using the darkness to overflow the river and destroy the valley is evil.

That's why bringing balance to the force requires their destruction.

I cannot tell if you are being serious or not with this statement. Not even close to being the best show for anything including any SW live action that has come out.

The concept for the show has potential but the writing is just awful, and the acting is bad or maybe it is the actors they cast.

The same could be said for Fett and Obi. So much material from the EU could have made those shows giant success but like the Acolyte, Disney is trying to save their streaming service and hoping that SW can be a cash cow by pumping out new series as quick as possible with no concern for quality.

there was oxygen blowing directly into the fire

It's a dumb thing to nitpick over, they showed the ship blowing oxygen out of a pressure valve into the fire.

do you think when a pressure valve shoots oxygen into space the oxygen just disappears? it would still burn.

do i need to post a clip of the scene? it literally shows the fire hit 2 electrical boxes and then shows the short traveling down the lines into a big reactor thing and exploding. why do you think they showed that?

hilarious the irony of calling me out for not understanding something that you clearly missed happen in the show that we are discussing.

IMG 1: Fire Starting Electrical Short

IMG 2: Short traveling into some kinda mining equipment that explodes

How many times do you want to be proven wrong?

A short at a breaker box isnt going to make all of the equipment explode. Thats not how electricity works. Shorts dont "travel" That s why that call it a short..... its a shortcut the electricity takes instead of traveling.

Yeah the Force doesn't work in real life either and you can't cast force lightning

Do you understand this is STAR WARS right? not REAL LIFE.

their transformers and electrical lines don't look like ours either.
