You have any quotes from Tom Clancy claiming Red October is a kids movie?

It is better. Better acting, better story, better fights, higher stakes.

1. You can be critical Hamill, but Hayden was not any better. I like McGregor as Obi-wan, but Ford was absolutely iconic as Han Solo. And I love Natalie Portman, but this wasn’t her best movie and Carrie Fisher again was great as Princess Leia. There are great supporting actors here and there in the ANH but that’s the main cast and most of the action.

2. ANH has its own story that stands alone with no explanation needed from any other movie. It’s a perfectly encapsulated hero’s journey. ROTS is a sequel. The story just leads us to where ANH begins. It’s nothing without ANH. the only reason you give 2 fricks about Anakin is because you know he will become Vader.

3. I will give you better lightsaber fights, but ANH has better space ship battles and Anakin gets his arm and legs cut off in one go as he tries to just leap over a guy with a lightsaber. one slip both legs and an arm.

4. When ANH came out it was literally for all the marbles. there was no promise of. a sequel. We know the emperor loses when ROTS comes out. Stakes are the same.

It is good for a season and a half (two seasons if you count his turn on Boba Fett). Filoni was Lucas' guy and he was tasked with restoring hope in SW after TLJ, so he just made a live action Rebels sequel. Mando is good for a bit, but it still pales in comparison to either of the first 2 animated properties.

I haven't watched the cartoons. I just can’t get into them, but I will acknowledge people generally say they are good.

That being said Mando is amazing. 2 great seasons and a good one.

You didn’t prove my direct quote from George Lucas false.

Not in the context of the interview. But judging by the quality of your posts, you dropped out of elementary school before they taught context clues. I’ll give you a pass on that one.

Yall crying about plot and acting and dialogue to turn around and defend ROTS discredits everything you say.

Go pretend Hayden Christensen screaming “you underestimate my power” before doing a backflip over Obi-wan and getting 3 limbs cut off in 1 swipe is a good scene.

Lol Padme dies of a broken heart! Her Emo boyfriend who has shown her 50 red flags throughout their relationship attacks her and she loses the will to live. She just had kids!

Oh and let’s not forget how fricking dumb their plan to hide the kids was.

“ok we can’t let Anakin Skywalker find these kids. Let’s give one a completely different name and hide her with a random family aaaaaaand let’s name this one Luke Skywalker, hide him with Anakin’s only family, tell
him his dad’s name is Anakin Skywalker and just hope Darth Vader never checks in and Luke never fills out an official imperial form with his father name on it.”

And I know you mouth breathers will say “well vader doesn’t even care about his step brother or know the kids are alive”

That doesn’t make this a better plan. They could have hid luke anyone else. they could have told Luke Own and Baru where his parents. they should have.

You’ve already been buried on that silly argument too many times to count and that’s from the first movie, it’s only a tie in to ROTS. It’s also pretty funny you start by saying you’re countering plot, acting and dialogue arguments but you use one line to support your rebuttal. It’s pathetic and weak which perfectly describes you and your arguments.

Nah, yall got bodied and come up with lame cop outsz It’s a dumb fricking plan and bad writing.

Lucas needed to explain that and he came up with a dumb explanation.

It’s called an example. I dont need to point out every shite line or bad scene from the Main character.

Your rebuttals are mostly insults and then trying to retap people in word games.

what’s the best dialogue in the ROTS? hmmm? hmmmmmm? you like the part where vader yells NOOOOOOOOOOOO

dufus

-No, hell at first you didn’t even know the facts or chronology of the situation which is the norm for you since you’re a Disney shill who constantly shits on the OT.

-Your “example” is not an example not even remotely close. One line doesn’t equal plot, acting or dialogue for an entire show or movie

-As usual you’re doing the thing you’re accusing me of. All you’ve done is throw insults the entire convo but you’re known to not have any self awareness being what you are and all.

Your arguments are ignorant and lack support. You’re constantly going back and forth contradicting things and opinions you previously expressed. You’re not a SW fan, you’re always running to wiki fandom to try and pretend you have any knowledge of this IP. You’re a Disney shill, not because you like the stuff they put out but because you agree with their politics. You’re a fraud and a joke.

The Acolyte’ Creator Doesn’t Believe Her New Star Wars Series Is “Queer With a Capital Q”

I’ve been coming back to this statement and wondering how they could make this a true statement. Not exactly true but maybe they could turn it into a lower case “q”.

I’ve seen theories that Quimir could end up being Darth Plagueis. He is looking for his own Acolyte. If that’s true then based on Rule of 2 his master would still be around. I’ve also seen it suggested that Koril is Quimir’s master. But then that wouldn’t make sense if Quimir were Plagueis.

This last episode has me thinking something is up about Koril. Could it be “she” was technically a “he”? Female in appearance but containing the consciousness of Plagueis’master Darth Tenebrous who was born a male Bith. And if he was forced to leave that body (and the other witches bodies)16 years ago what body has he been in this whole time? They never explain how Mae survived. Or what about Vernestra? She conveniently sent the Jedi to warn Kelnacca and get butchered.

I just have a feeling they are going to try to be as shocking as possible next week and also set up a season 2. Any other theories?

There is a an actual counter argument in that whole post. it is absolutely typical
of you.

First you just say “nuhuh”

they you cry

Then you insult me.

1. In galaxy of people not related to Anakin, they send Luke to one of 6 living people with any connection to Anakin. The whole plan relies on Vader not even casually checking in on his step brother.

you cannot say it’s a better idea that sending him with a stranger and changing his name.

2. Do you think Cheistensen screaming at Obi-wan was good acting and good dialogue? That’s a laugh

No i’ve heard a hindsight argument as to why it worked, not any argument that it was a good plan at the time.

And you are absolutely ducking my questions about the dialogue and acting.

Yeah it is. It’s a major scene that’s a payoff from the lesson Obi Wan learned when fighting Maul two movies before it that arrogance would make him slip up. He knew how arrogant Anakin was because he’s his father figure so he knew in goading him with “don’t try it” that would make him jump and he could end the fight.

Anakin is also known to play with the force a bunch and show off, so I don’t know why the flip thing is a problem. He does it like 30 seconds earlier to get back on the on the floating platform too. In Ep1, he admits that Obi wan would be mad if he saw him using the force to cut fruit

Disney Star Wars has zero amount of depth. They can’t string shite together from episode to episode or season to season.

You interpreted that scene as Obi-wan goading him? He absolutely didn’t want to kill Anakin.

And as great a “moment” as that could have been, poor dialogue and poor acting makes it a joke.

“It’s over Anakin, I have the high ground.” and “don’t try it” to an arrogant, power hungry person seems like goading to me.

He doesn’t want to kill him when he’s talking to Yoda earlier but resigns himself that he’ll have to when they’re fighting over the lava river. He tells him “ Then you are lost.”

He doesn’t kill him when he’s laying on the ground because it’s against the Jedi code to kill an unarmed opponent.

I’m not ducking anything, one line isn’t equivalent to 10 years of TV and Movies. Your premise is dishonest.
