there are plenty of shitty lines throughout the franchise. You can find shitty lines in most action adventure movies.

but i’m not sitting here watching any movie or show like “why are these people talking like this”

it’s not like watching Juno.

I provided screenshots showing people review the show hours before they watched it.

In order to do that, there would need to be a time stamp on your screenshot, which there was not.

New article with Headland

quote:

You’ve mentioned a possible season 2, so not knowing when you crafted this how many seasons you were going to get, did you craft a firm season finale ending like Obi-Wan Kenobi, or is it teeing up more story to come like the way Ahsoka ended its first season?

I'll tell you my philosophy on first seasons. Something that I've noticed is first seasons will end on what should have been the break into act two. It feels like everyone's really expecting to get a second season, and I don't feel that's a good idea. I think you should put everything you can into the first season and give the audience a nice resolution that feels satisfying, but enough nods to mysteries that you would want to see a second season. So it’s a little bit of both. You don't want to leave it so wrapped up that, like Obi-Wan or a standalone mini-series, that there's no reason to watch a second season, but I think there's enough stuff in the last few episodes that you would want to have answered.

quote:

Where are you now in terms of season 2? Have you written outlines? Are there scripts? Are you just sort of playing the waiting game?

I remember reading that Vince Gilligan in writing and doing the first season of Breaking Bad really didn't plan on, “We're getting seven more seasons, and this is what's going to happen to Walter White.” It was much more, “Here's everything we got. We're throwing everything at the wall.” And then with the pickup, he mapped out, “Okay, here's what's going to happen over the course of however many seasons.”

So I took that approach with this. I threw everything into season 1, because who knows what's going to happen? And then I'd say there are four to five major mysteries and plot points that have to get hit in season 2, but until we get a proper pickup, I worry that spending a lot of time in that world — especially being in a period where I've worked so long on this project that honestly I'm exhausted by it coming out — to kind of jump right into like, “All right, season 2….” It will probably be more that I know what needs to happen, and I know what the character development needs to be in order to hit the plot points and the character points for a second, third, or fourth season. So I look forward to working on that, but right now, I haven't.

Oh I don’t give a shite about that, or any of the arguments on the reviews.
I either like the show or I don’t. I don’t care what other people think of it.

I just found it odd that you claimed something happened at a specific time, yet didn’t provide the proof of that timing.

Why do you keep lying about me to other people? Oh wait, I know why, because your argument got obliterated and you’re lashing out like a little brat.

The screenshots you posted said it aired already

And the tweets are about complaints nobody is making.

Unless calling Osha/Mae and Jecki boring characters, and poorly acted, is anti-woman

Or calling Yord the most useless, incompetent Jedi on the show is anti-queer/POC

But everyone in the show is gay, female, or a POC. . .or combinations of the three. So that means any criticism of any character can be called. . .

That is some high-level, convenient, diversity shield bullshite.

Now I know why the Corinthian Disney shill is knighting so hard. At least I get the sense that Sammy genuinely likes the show, somehow.

the Corinthian guy is just using it as a convenient bludgeon for people he disagrees with politically. That is why all his posts seem so slimy and dishonest.

Another reason why this site needs an ignore feature. I'll just have to do it manually.

Star Wars had always had bad dialog or really since the prequels. .
This is like "I hate sand" and "so Palpatine is back" had an incestual baby with 2 or three additional chromosomes, and Disney was like "let they cook, bruh"

"Attack me with all of your strength!!!"

Someone got paid to write that, and other paid people were like "fricking. nailed. it."

I like the show. It's def not near the level of my favorite shows but we can all be honest and admit that it's not a 1 it's a 5 or a 6.

If you think me saying Disney's new show is a 5 or 6 out if 10 is shilling Idk what to tell you.

I watch more justified and deadwood reruns than anything on Disney.

I hate sand is an iconically bad line and you know it.

This line is corny too.

The constant rehabilitation of the prequels to try and ignore that Lucas had already fricked up the franchise before Disney bought it is ridiculous.

shite none of the acting in this show is worse than Hayden Christianson “You turned her against meeee”

Yeah, it is

but there are several in Disney Wars that are as bad, or worse

TLJ

-Your mom joke
-Saving what we love
-Everything Rose Tico said, for that matter
-Holdo's interaction with Poe

Rise

-Palps back
-They fly now
-Palpatine's dialog
-"You are nothing! A scavenger girl is no match for the power in me! I am all the Sith!"
-"Rey, and I... am all the Jedi"

Book of Boba Fett

Find any episode before Mando shows up

The Acolyte

-Attack me

-Sol: I saw her die
5 minutes later
Osha: She is alive
Sol: I believe you

-Ohsa: I don't want to go
Sol: They will let us go if we both go
Osha: Ok

-Mae: Can't believe my sister is jedi scum
5 minutes later
Mae: I don't need you or your master. My sister being alive changes everything.

Osha/Mae is orders of magnitude worse than anything short of Book of Boba Fett (which is more on her acting level)

This role was too big for her, on and off the screen

I had no problem with either of these

The Power of One stuff was them trying way too hard to force something iconic to happen. it’s just not a profound statement and then having the weird witch chant delivery made it even worse

its weird but i also find Amanda seems to be more natural playing Osha and worse playing Mae

I actually agree that she is merely bland as Osha.

Straight up cringe as Mae. Hard to watch
