To say that Emma Stone is a better actor than DDL, Joaquin Phoenix, or Gary Oldman (who didn’t even make the list) is fricking absurd.

Him and Phoenix not being top 10 is silly

Phoenix I’ll outright say is the best actor of his generation. Hoffman gives him a run for his money, but I really believe that.

I agree. This millennium, he's given us Joker, Commodus, Johnny Cash, Her, The Master. All phenomenal performances.

I’ll never forget being extremely pissed that Heath Ledger was cast as the Joker over Joaquin at the time. It was a role he was clearly born to play, and hey I got the best of both worlds.

Did he have any noteworthy movies after 2000?

Yeah, but she’s not the second best actor of the 21st century.

Amy Adams is a much better actor than Emma Stone and even she doesn't belong in the Top 5.

That Top 5 should consist of the following (in no particular order): Daniel Day-Lewis, Joaquin Phoenix, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Gary Oldman, and Meryl Streep.

Still amazed this clown is on there but Leo, Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, etc. are not.

Anyone actually open this list?

It's a british publication. Stephen Graham, hugh Grant, Sally Hawkins, andy Serkis, raiph fiennes, Olivia Coleman, and Lesley Manville are in the 50s. Some of those would be in any top 60. Some probably should not.

Might account for why 5 of the top 10 are British (or irish).

They ranked Cruise last of course.

Also...

I think this is hilarious. Are they going by how many movies the actor is in? Because it seems like Florence Pugh is in every other movie released in the last three years. She's got the short chubby non-descript blonde actress category locked up. I don't get her appeal at all.
