Him stuffing wet toilet paper in the Keyhole was very Michael Scottish. It looked like anyone can escape Aspen’s prison.

Absolutely fantastic docuseries

It’s most fascinating and terrifying that people like that walk among us. Nothing about Ted Bundy hinted at him being a sociopathic mass murderer. He was attractive, highly educated, well spoken, had a normal and likeable personality with exceptional social skills. The fact that someone like that can systematically murder 30+ people is horrifying.

I enjoyed the series. I thought it got better the 2nd half. Im surprised at the amount of bullshite the judge let Bundy get away with during the trial. When he started pointing at the judge, I was like umm is this dude going to tell Bundy something or what.

I wish they would have went deeper into Bundy helping with other cases. Thats some of the most interesting aspects of these situations with serial killers.

"Hybristophilia is a paraphilia in which sexual arousal, facilitation, and attainment of orgasm are responsive to and contingent upon being with a partner known to have committed an outrage, cheating, lying, known infidelities, or crime—such as rape, murder, or armed robbery."

Some women are literally aroused by men who murder.

I was always fascinated with Bundy. Thought I had seen all the documentaries about him but this one gave me more insight into him. I'm on episode 2 and I'm hooked too. He was a charmer and a manipulator. Cant wait to see the episode when he is in trial. The Judge told him that he would have been one hell of an attorney.

Ted enjoyed the cross because it made him relive the murders.

It’s crazy to think how many murders he did in such a small amount of time.

Finished last night, enjoyable doc. One thing I noticed is they seriously glossed over the heinous nature of many of his crimes. Idk if they just didn't want to get into that intentionally or what but I feel like there was a brief 20 second little mention in the last ep about some of the bodies not having heads and that "he practiced necrophilia". From what I understand from other readings he decapitated many of the victims and would have sex with many of the dead bodies, often multiple times. In some instances he would go back to their grave site multiple times to have intercourse with the corpses. 95% of the docuemntary though when talking about his crimes simply made it out to be that he jsut had this intense lust and would kidnap and rape/kill the women then leave them alone.

yeah Bundy is a serial killer i didn't know much about but the gf put this doc on a few nights ago and we watched them all

then i listened to the LPOTL episodes and i was like WHOA NELLY. the doc completely glossed over his actual crimes

dude would frick the dead bodies until they turned into goo, basically. he also kept the heads for long periods of times

Bundy was a necrophiliac - plain and simple. That's why he killed these girls, to return and have sex with their corpses.

For some reason, that always gets glossed over in these documentaries about him. I suppose it's because it takes away from this narrative that he was this brilliant, handsome, charming guy that everyone wanted to be around and that father's wished their daughters would marry.

That's mostly not true either. While Ted was above average in terms of intelligence, looks, etc., he was nothing special, unless you're comparing him to other serial killers. He was socially awkward and not a very good student.

That seems to be a huge appeal, especially with the new movie with Efron. Like I said in that thread, it’s almost glorifying him as this sexy figure in serial killer culture. Quite sickening.

I believe the effron movie is supposed to be from the girl friends perspective, which until later on in the timeline didn’t expect anything

I think part of the story they are going to tell is how she viewed him as a person before the truth came out

Obviously we know he did it. But if you were in that courtroom and didn’t know that bastard was evil after that then you needed a bullet to the brain.
