Agree.
Having Fak as a major cog in service is ridiculous.

I can't stand how she just shows up, begs for a job, shits the bed after going behind the owners back, and Carmy is constantly apologizing to her when he tells her off. She has somehow insinuated herself into his family business, and is treated like a part owner, when in reality she is nothing more than a new employee. Plus, the actress is SO far below everyone else in the cast in terms of talent, it's like nails on a chalkboard when she shows up.

I've always assumed her personality is the only reason carny can afford her

Agreed with this. I'm not really sure where her entitlement comes from.

He technically apologizes, I guess, but his apologies are usually "I'm sorry" followed by an aggressive staredown and nodding until the other person relents and "accepts the apology"

I think the actress is fine. She does a really good job of portraying a typical annoying gen Z brat that somehow feels entitled to shite she hasn't earned. The character is like nails on a chalkboard to me but I don't attribute that to the acting, from my perspective. And yeah, she would have never gotten an owernship agreement from me if I was Carmy. He clearly doesn't trust her when it comes to menu design and what not.

But Carmy is a lunatic and a selfish arse
This right here and I admit I've not watched the show since the first season it just annoyed me a lot of the reason was because the main character was someone that I just did not like and Anderson a lot of people will explain it away as well it's a pursuit of perfection and he's trying to be the best you can do that without being so damn selfish
It's crazy I think the show is a generational thing to where younger people like it because this kind of me me me and my pursuit of perfection is what excuses it but the idea of perfection is something that they create in their own mind
like I can be selfish and take everything I want because I'm pursuing perfection and I have the right as an individual to do that
like Lizzo
I can be a fat count but don't you dare criticize me for being fat
no you're a fat count or no youre a cook
I'm more impressed by someone that runs a restaurant feeding the disadvantage on their own not as a govt program

she's actually a great friend and character.
She literally goaded him into ending his healthy relationship because it was “distracting” him from doing the thing that benefited her.

Ok. On what grounds do you disagree? How would you describe that very specific and actual scene of the show?

I disagree with this, she's playing a pretty good flawed brat.
