During that first competition between Rizo and Alex, it looked like Rizo had no chance in this game. Then Alex completely collapsed in that comp.
Crazy that it was once again Rizo beating Alex when it counted.

A good point was made that Rizo having the idol means it's not a huge unknown. They can plot with less worry about a truly "hidden" idol. He's destined for a 5th or 6th place finish, though.

Not to be that guy, but Savannah has short legs. Her legs were straight the whole time. I could do that for days, she was just wedged in. Sophie was the real cham there, her legs were bent and she had to account for her back, etc. It really wasn't a fair challenge. Maybe next time they adjust for leg lengths. You could see it with most of the men. The more bent your legs are the harder it is. Most weren't even sitting all the way against the wedge on the box. Pretty shitty challenge for the men and someone with long legs like Sage.

I agree.
This season has been pretty meh. No one stands out in a good way. As long as Savannah doesn’t win it all it will be okay.

but, she also outlasted everyone in the comp before standing on those 1/4 in footholds. I know that one favors lighter people but, she won

Both favored her body type.. but that luck will run out.

I do not recall there being a back to the seat, which is why it was so difficult when they could not use their hands. Without a back, they were free to position themselves however they wanted on the seat, so it was bad strategy for the other players not to stretch their legs out fully.
Also, Savannah had her feet spread wider than most everyone else. I think this was the biggest factor that helped her win.
As with most endurance challenges, it does seem to favor the players with the slighter build.

There was a little wedge... 4-6" high. Not a full back.
You can see it if you zoom in.

Survivor 50 news aside, this latest boot was made wayyyy too obvious by the editing.
Are we losing a main character in Rizo or some random background guy with hardly any screen time since episode 4 in Alex?
Wish the editing was more even...

Tonight was the best episode of the season so far. Tribal was quality entertainment.

What was the purpose of Rizzo putting out the rake idol?
Posted on 11/27/25 at 4:43 am to DestrehanTiger
-entertainment to get on 50
-gauge the reactions of the players and potentially play the real one
-you could potentially convince everyone you had a fake idol the entire time and play the real one down the road

Yeah that was great plan and execution and again Rizzo going HAM with that idol has been outstanding.
Really impressed Sophie wasn’t intimidated by Savannah and stayed with Red and didn’t forget that she was at the bottom with that other group and they all wanted her out over MC. Would have been very short sighted to turn on the Red three who finally were playing with her just to get out her biggest comp threat. Wasn’t really that impressed by her until that vote. And smart for Savannah to tell her about the extra vote so that she felt fully a part of the whole plan, that likely solidified her trust with them.
Only misstep imo was going Juwan over Sage. Juwan isn’t capable of bringing people in the way Sage is. She was clearly the brains behind the operation and taking her out would have left Juwan completely isolated. From the preview, that looks like it may even bite them next week.
The Sophies aligning is smart and could make things very interesting. Hell, blue could use her KIP and take Rizzo’s idol and get him out while she is safe and guarantee she’s safe next vote too, would be a huge resume move. But if yellow tries to go to Sage to bring her in she will likely end up backstabbing her.
No matter what I’m just extremely glad that Kristina didn’t get a chance to impact the game with that idol play of Stephen. She has been completely worthless and lucking into an idol giving her power in season with pretty good strategic play would have annoyed me.
Savanah flipping it to one Juwan/Sage was great strategy and very glad it paid off, just think she should have stuck to her guns and gone Sage.

That was smart. Juwan/Sage were building a good resume and could be in the driver’s seat if a couple of things went their way over the next couple of episodes.

I think Savannah was really angry that Juwan lied to her face and tried to bamboozle her. When she started getting votes in TC, you could tell she was mad and asked Juwan if he voted for her, even while the votes were being counted.
Kristina continues to somehow stumble through another episode. Just like when she talked them out of voting out Savannah a few weeks ago, she makes another bad move with her idol play. What concerns me is she isn’t seen as a threat and will likely avoid being targeted for a while, if at all. She’s getting an extremely positive edit and I could see her getting some revenge votes in Final TC by people who are turned off by Savannah’s confidence, etc. If you go by demographics alone, Kristina would have 4 jury votes before the voting happens. One of the lowest points of Survivor was when Mary Ann won a few seasons back for no good reason. But I think Rizo and Steven are likable and could win on their own merit.

Why do they put the numbers on the voting slips? I’ve seen it a few times this season.
Anyone know what that’s about?

I think some people put different marks on their votes to see when their vote is counted.

This picture pretty much validates what I said about how the challenge was tailor made for Savannah.

I believe this was done to appease Yellow Sophie

They sometimes put different things on their votes (smiley face, heart, etc.) to prove to their allies that they followed through rather than cast a stray vote. Something like that would be my guess.

They should’ve gotten rid of Savannah.
