Austin realizing Dee is playing him.

Great episode for Jake tonight. I thought Katurah was getting the winners edit but she was completely irrelevant tonight. I’m not sure she would even beat Jake in a final 3

Agreed. And now their showmance is out in the open. People will assume they’ll auto-vote for the other if only 1 makes the finals. The best solution is to put both of them on the jury.
Katurah beats Dee in firemaking and the final 3 are Katurah, Jake, and Julie.

Dee is playing this game in another tier higher compared to everyone else

No Dee made lots of mistakes & may not make it to final 3.

Julie would have to be a unanimous choice, right?
Outside of Jake doing something slick with that idol at the next tribal.

quote:No, she's actually not thinking straight. She's so worried about getting wrapped up in her emotions with Austin, that she is losing sight of actual strategic gameplay. She's thinking, "I can't play with my heart", but sometimes the head AND the heart are aligned. That should be where she's at, but she isn't. She is stuck in the mindset that Julie is her #1, so Julie won't go behind her back.

If she was thinking straight, she would understand that Julie's only chance of winning the game is to be in a final 3 without her. And Julie needs to get Dee out as quickly as possible. On the other hand, the only way for Austin and Drew to make the final 3 would be with Dee (at least keep Dee through next Tribal).
If Dee wanted to make a move against one of them, it should have been after Julie was gone. Dee is an extremely strong player and has a shot to win, but now getting to the final 3 will be a real struggle for her.

We know that Jake is safe or can be if he wants. I think Austin/Dee will probably win immunity leaving Julie Clitoris and Austin/Dee on the chopping block.
Jake is going to either make a big play by saving someone or himself and choose who goes home. I don't think anyone knows about his idol so I can see 4 votes on Jake- Jake plays his idol and takes out Austin/Dee/Julie. One of those is for sure going home.
Clitorah is a goat and she is being dragged to the finals.

Austin, blinded by titties. Gonna cost him $1M.
He should have played his idol for Drew and took about Julie

Reminds me of my divorce.
Katurah has the most compelling backstory to get sympathy from the jury but her gameplay has been non-existent.
Dee has the best gameplay resume in my opinion. She has protected her #1 from going home the longest. She has an immigrant backstory and can be manipulative to get jury votes.
Austin has played well but he screwed up by giving Julie an idol for no real reason and sharing info that got his #1 sent home. His backstory is that he was a chubby teen with braces and acne. Wahhh
Julie and Jake are about the same as far as gameplay. Julie benefited from being in an alliance with Dee and Jake is around because he’s not a threat.

Julie has at least finished second to Bruce in two endurance immunity challenges. Jake has been unimpressive in the challenges.
While the tribals have been good, the gameplay has been pretty boring across the board outside of Emily.

I agree...
Dee, Austin, Julie, Jake, Katurah in order.
Jake still could win it though, if he can use his idol to blindside Dee/Austin then eliminate the other making fire.
I don't think Austin has a great resume, but he'll have friends on the jury.

Just catching up and I agree with this.
Dee wasn’t on Drew’s radar at all, so by taking him out she took away a number for herself. Just absolutely stupid at this point in the game.
She is hoping it will be the three reds taking out the two blues, but Julie is already off of that train. She will want Austin out next 100%.
If Austin wins immunity, which is his only path to survival at this point, she is in serious trouble. If he doesn’t, he is gone no question.
Pretty annoyed that two useless players like Jake and Katurah are going to the end. I can see why Drew was so pissed, but he really brought it on himself. There was no reason to turn on red before the blues were gone imo. One more week and they he could have done whatever he wanted. Emily was the tie breaker for the reds and she was with the guys no doubt. There was no rush to get Julie out.
That hubris, plus Austin’s absurdly giving his idol to Julie, are all time bad moves.
Also, why did Drew not consider using his walk away advantage? Was that still alive after that tribal? Drew and Austin could have secured their place in final five together, with Dee as their third (Austin Dee and Julie would have been all that was needed to vote out Jake or Kat if he left tribal).
Like Austin said, no need to take a souvenir. Just use whatever you have at that point whether you think you’re in trouble or not. No matter how hard was Julie was pushing red reunion he had to know there was a chance she’d jump to the blues.
Just sloppy and anti climactic for a good run by Red.

Jake is a joke to the entire tribe. I don't think there is a move he can make to overcome that. The only possibility is winning the final tribal, picking Katurah to make it, giving up his spot to Dee or Julie, then beating the other in fire making. Even then, he still probably loses to Dee/Julie.

agreed but, he could have played it for drew and saved an ally.

It's easy to say from the bird's eye view that we have. However, I would say that playing the idol there is a detriment to his game. It can be argued that he didn't have his finger on the pulse and wasted an idol. In hindsight, the best play, other than saving Drew, would have been to keep the idol as a "souvenir" to show the jury that you made it that far without needing to use it.

But Drew had his own advantage he should have used. Austin had no reason to think Dee was betraying them, which is why Drew didn’t use his own.
Man, actually a brutal blow for Austin after showing Dee nothing but loyalty and trust. Going to be interesting to see his reaction back at camp. I’m expecting many tears from Dee while Austin comforts her for her betrayal
Worst part is that it weakened both of their games and she doesn’t even know it. The likelihood of the one that doesn’t win immunity going home is very high.
They went from a virtual lock to make final three to having a 50/50 shot at best to making final four.
