Well, that was quite interesting. I’m glad Eric was blindsided but I wish it would have been puppet master Ron. I have a feeling it will be him next week.

shite yeah it was!
I haven’t been a big fan of this season and don’t really have any favorites (other than Lauren’s arse which is a Survivor GOAT
), but man that was actually really strong strategizing and gameplay by several different people tonight.
Wardog annoys me but he did a really damn good job selling his pitch to the young ones in the power alliance.
And the black girl was smart in how she then tested Eric and recognized what his answer meant.
Aurora was smart to realize what the Joe vote meant for her long term, and Dave was right on in his realization that he couldn’t roll with his Devers plan.
And maybe most impressive was Wentworth and Lauren trusting the plan they all put together and not wasting their idols. Aurora saved her advantage too which is going to keep those three in positions of strength going forward.
That really was one of the better episodes of strategic maneuvering on so many fronts that I can remember. Agreed that the only thing that could have made it better was the “puppet master” going home instead of Eric. That dude sucks.
Next week should be very fun as they all try to figure out their next moves after the fallout from this.

After that blindside I think the season is really going to get interesting now. The looks on Ron and Eric's faces was so damn good.

Yeah, the reunion strategy was weak and insulted peoples intelligence. I think if I were on Survivor, the family reunion would be the last thing on my mind, and I'm very family-centric.

As long as that turd Aubrey doesn't get back in over Joe, I am good with the season. last week I said it would be Daily, Reem to get to practice the challenge. Turns out is the turd, Aubrey. Alas.

I agree. David laid it out perfectly at tribal to explaining it. I'm just glad Redhead jumped on that idea of switching. The game should definitely be more interesting moving forward now. Kelly & Lauren, took a huge gamble not playing an idol.

First time positing in this thread, but I watch every season. Last night was pretty good, should make it more watchable. I’m not a fan of Ron. Lauren gets hotter each episode. Wardog is throwing his name into the hat of worst competitors ever. Aubrey is gross as hell, and I’ve never been a fan. I thought it was a great move last night with the blindside. Devins needs to stop being an emotional dumbass.

I had watched from the first season, but a few years ago my wife and I stopped watching for a while. I just found it hard to get into the seasons if there wasn’t anyone I was really pulling for early on. But eventually we started watching again and went back and watched most of the seasons we missed.
I find that if I stick it out the first few weeks, eventually I really get into the season. This is one of those seasons that I found hard to get into, with little to pull for except for Kelly and Joe. But I’ve grown to like pulling against players as much as pulling for players. Last night was one of those moments. Last night was one of those “NOW it’s on” moments that make Survivor so good even in seasons with less than stellar casts.
