What a horrible look for Dan. He blows the reward when he was too full of himself and tried to hold 3 sand bags in one hand to give it to the other team. And then, reluctantly gives Angelina his idol. Only to see one of his tribe’s strongest players go home.

John would’ve gone home even if Dan hadn’t used the idol.

Angelina cost her side last night....they are fractured and Dan lost an idol. Her begging at tribal was AWESOME.

But if he doesn't save Angelina, you still lose a Goliath and now you've told your alliance I'm not willing to give up my idol for one of you.
That was a lose-lose situation he was put in.

Yeah but nobody really wants her around and Goliath still has numbers. To me, The hard part would having to put up with her at camp after John still goes home after you didn't use an idol.
Davie is the real hero. What he did is something I would have had a hard time doing.

But Goliath does not have the numbers now. It's 6-5, right? And David has the guy with the advantage to steal someone's vote and vote twice? That effectively means David has the advantage now if I haven't missed something.

Mike flaking out on the 6-person alliance was so disappointing, especially because he worked to get Christian out. I hope it comes back to bite him.
Dan was dumb to give an idol to Angelina because she's a dead woman walking. But I understand why he did in the moment. Is Kara the only one that knows he found a second one? His days seem pretty numbered.
I didn't like Nick the first couple of episodes, but he's really grown on me. I wouldn't be surprised to see him win it all. And I thought he found the advantage to steal a vote, but then they showed him trying to talk Davie into using it. That was confusing.

The best part is even if he doesn't use it, John still goes home and Davids now know they have an idol on their side that multiple people know about.

But no one likes Angelina. No one would of thought any less of him if he didn't give her the idol. Dan just isn't playing a smart game though. He quickly told Kara he had an idol right after he found it. And made a promise to Angelina to save her when he didn't need to.

I can’t believe they tried to save Angelina. She sucks. I hate that mike backed out of the alliance. I really was hoping him and Christian would make it far because they are both really like able

Between the coat thing a couple of weeks ago and her asking if dude told Probst her name last night she seems like one of the most self obsessed people I’ve ever seen play the game. I wouldn’t trust her at all.

It was a smart move by Mike though he knows he can't beat Christian for the million. If not now when? David's worked Dan hard though he's definitely the weak link on the Goliaths and he thinks he's the smartest.

It was definitely a viewer blindside... I knew the vote was going to be nuts when they didn't show one player vote; they always show at least one vote.
There are a couple of smart people on Goliaths but damn it was dumb for them not to spit their votes with such overwhelming numbers in case an idol was played.
Yeah, Dan was in a lose lose... he had to play it though; not playing it would have been worse for him.
Mike and Alec will be scrambling now as it now seems the gang of six is dead. Poor Mike- he pulled a Tessio; he was always the smart one.

the part by the beach was the first time i remember angelina without her stretchy pants but, she never stood up. was hoping to see what she looked like with the pants holding everything in place.

This is what I was thinking.
Davie, Christian, and Nick obviously planned that before tribal council, as all three somehow voted for John despite that never coming up beforehand.
When the first John vote popped up I was thinking it might have just been Davie's idea to use the idol for Christian and throw a vote John's way in case Angelina had an idol, but when the second one popped up (and a third was shown later) it had to be planned all along.
I guess with the dissolution of the "strike force" alliance it probably is going to be back to David vs. Goliath. I get that Mike was threatened by Christian, but he could have waited on that move.
And with Nick's steal a vote advantage, the Davids actually have the numbers on their side.

Yeah it was great. They didn't show any of the votes being written down when they usually show one or two. That was the signal that something crazy was going to happen.
The whole thing was just great. Dan using his idol to save her when he wanted to vote her off and having his closest ally get got. Fantastic.
