They didn't have the numbers to do a true split. If all 5 Davids had voted for Angelina like expected, the 7 Goliaths could have split it 6-1 just in case with a vote for one of the other Davids, but that 1 stray vote would have gone to waste. Would have been smart to do that in case, but in the end it didn't matter, they got outplayed.

also, the last two standing in the immunity challenge were on the losing side of the reward challenge and didn't get to eat. yet, they outlasted the others

I don't remember seeing the time elapsed, but it felt like the immunity challenge went really fast.

As bad as Dan is, I love Alec's game. He was the first to get rid of a strong Goliath and not effect his game at all. Then telling Nick that Christian is the target allowed Davie to be the hero. As long as Nick doesn't burn him(get outed) when they get back to camp, Alec is in a strong position all things considered.

Best episode of the season and one of the best tribals in recent memory for me.
I've enjoyed Alec from the start. Seemed to be playing from jump and kind of pulling strings without folks knowing. Angelina must go.

I'm glad you pointed that out. I have been very surprised at the love she has been getting on here, well, for her looks at least. I'm interested to see how she'd look at the end of the show, but she does have quite the grimace build for now.

That was a crazy tribal council. 2 advantages and one idol played. Has anyone ever played the idol of themself, and still go home. Kara blew up Dan’s game when she told the rest of her tribe he had the idol. You’d think a SWAT officer would have better judgement. But there’s always a sucker every season.

I guess I'm the only one that likes Angelina. My wife hates her also. she reminds me of someone on one of the earlier seasons that won, but I can't remember her name right now.

Two awesome TC in a row with blindsides both times. Survivor at its best! 
When Jeff pulled that Veto Nullifying out of the jar, we all were laughing our heads off. But we didn't understand why they blocked Alison's vote. I would have blocked someone I knew would never switch to the David side like Angelina. Why piss Alison off like that?

I think they were pissed at Allison as she soured on the big move to vote Dan out.
I'll have to watch it again though. I'd had a few drinks. I remember thinking there was some strategy involved as well, but now can't remember.

I don’t get it either. It almost always backfires on the person who has the idol. Do you like all the extra advantages and how seemingly easy they are to get? Or would you rather have just the immunity idols like a long time ago?

I kind of liked when the game was pure without any idols. Except when someone we like needs one and it gets played.
I also liked it better before all the islands they go to by themselves. Exile, Redemption, etc.
