The best people left are all on the tribe that won the last few competitions, so they haven't received the same screen time.

I really wanted Stephanie go make the finale.
James is still weak as shite in physical comps.
LOL at those other 2 chicks talking shite about how Stephanie performs in challenges. They are useless.
Michael seems a lot older than 18. That play with the idol was pretty creative. It would have worked if he had played the idol for brendon.

I agree. Very little excitement. The producers keep trying to mix it up, now changing to 3 tribes. But at this point I don't really give a frick what happens with any of the contestants.

Seems like it. I don't think it was working how they intended. Everyone was just going to rocks instead of picking who to send. No one was getting an advantage once there

I doubt they abandoned it completely. With the switch to 3 tribes they spent a little bit of time at all 3 camps before the challenge. That ate up almost a half an hour in itself. If we don't see it next week you can consider it abandoned, but that would legitimately surprise me. Survivor is not like Big Brother. They don't just abandon their twist halfway through the season. We had to sit through 3 whole seasons of Redemption Island, i suspect Ghost Island will return next week.

Luck is a lot of what the game is. Some don't deserve to be there but like you said, they are on the right side of the numbers.

I'd like to discuss the almost weekly tribe shakeups that seem to be so prevalent in recent seasons. I'm assuming the producers analyze the likelihood of a good tribal coming up, and if it looks like it will be extremely straight forward, they shake things up. I get it. What really, really bugs me is all this talk about original (insert fake tribal name) vs new tribes. First, I assume most people are like me and you never bother to learn the tribe names anyway. Second, the shake ups happen so often, I don't even remember who was on what tribe. The only time I can remember is when it's an allstar season and I already knew the players. With new people, I'm focusing more on learning who the people are. I'd like for them to start trying to keep teams together longer. It doesn't have an impact on the theme of this season, but it usually kills whatever alignment the season is supposed to revolve around.
