Yeah it sucks but everybody knew who was tight with each other and just didn’t do anything about it. It sucks that they don’t show the players honest opinions about what’s going on during the actual show and we have to wait for it during the exit interviews.

Imagine if Aubry lost the challenge and went on to beat one of the guys at fire making. Her underdog story would have been off the charts.
Aubrey’s made it far in several seasons because she’s a below the radar non-threat. It’s not like she has a great skill that puts here there.
I think Steph’s comment about Jonathan being the total package was based on Ponderosa conversations. She probably knew where the vote was going and was frustrated that no one respected his performance in all aspects.

Apparently they called him the total package all season as a wrestling reference bc IRL he helped rehab a wrestler. I don’t know the specifics but the story is out there

I'm sure she was frustrated that Cirie was steering it all towards her friend Aubry even though Johnathan played the better game.
She definitely laid it on a little too thick and didn't give Johnathan a chance to sell himself any either.

If I am a guy like Jonathan, I am doing everything possible to get as many girls out asap. Frankly any guy should be trying to get girls out at this point. Extremely hard to beat a girl in F3

I’m just disappointed that we don’t see good gameplay and challenge threats rewarded anymore. It’s all about the jury’s fee fees

It's probably the reason Stephanie made that pitch for Jonathan. She saw what was going on a ponderosa.

And it was a total waste of money. They didn't even have a reunion. For years I have been saying that I miss the LA finale because it gives the contestants a chance to watch the show and comment on things they didn't realize. I would have loved some questions on:
What did Dee think when Johnathan was making her look crazy?
Why did everyone always go to Cirie whenever a decision had to be made?
If Tiff was in over Aubrey, who would've voted for Tiff?
Steph, why didn't you try to save your skins more and throw Johnathan under the bus?
What did everyone think was happening with Devens and the idol at tribal?
There are tons more, but we got none of that. All we got was Aubrey's victory speech, Johnathan's loser speech, and Joe's view on final tribal. Why did we even come back to LA? It was all made worse by the fact that they wasted 20 minutes setting up fire making only to spoil it.
All in all, it may be the worst Surivor finale that I can remember.
