Stopped watching because of all of the awful and overly complicated gimmicks and powers. Like let’s release 30 different game changing powers in the game at once, each with intricate rules and regulations, and expect our audience to remember it on a week to week basis. It’s now a total departure from what made the show great. And the fire making challenge at final 4 is horrible too. Probst is a chode.

We got some butter faces this year.

Carolyn looks like she's seen some shite.

I’ll watch but I agree with the complicated changes. I think the producers had to do something to mix it up because contestants got so knowledgeable about the game.

I just hope we don’t get a third boring winner in a row. The folks who have been brought to the final 3 as a goat end up winning. Viewers are left thinking “I guess they edited out all their big moves” but that’s not how the show is made.

I agree about the gimmicks and advantages. Just put out a few regular idols with no strings attached.

She’s supposedly 35. A drug counselor who has been sober 13 years. I bet she was fun at parties. She actually seems pretty normal in this CBS video clip.

Son of a gun, they got me again. After the first hour, I’m optimistic. The people seem pretty normal and there are lots of intelligent contestants. Yeah, one or two players say they left their same-sex spouse at home but it’s not being played up at all. And Sarah is subtle eye candy.

First Tribal Council was solid.

Sarah went up a few points on the beach. Carolyn went down a lot of points.

Bruce was my pre-season pick to win. Hopefully he gets a shot on a future season.

Good tribal too, two completely wasted shots in the dark, a correct idol play, and ended with a 1-vote elimination. Maddy was sort of cute, but you can't take a shot like that and miss. She could have just stuck with the Lauren plan.

Them some ugly hoes.

That’s a solid row of baws in the back minus Harry Potter and fat Russ Hanneman.

Front row soft af.

Carolyn would get on my last nerve in about 30 seconds.

The tribal was great.

Not that it’s wrong, but they are really stopping things on the medical. I think after the year a bunch got seriously dehydrated, they decided they needed to be more careful.

Harry Potter

He said he put on 40 pounds before the season to prepare. A lot of brainpower but we’ll see how that works out.

Same. I think it will be an interesting season. Several weirdos out there though.

I liked that the birdcage just had a regular idol in it plus a dummy idol... no three-way weird phrase to activate it or challenge to get everyone's beads, etc.

It will be interesting to see if another tribe can have someone find it solo, keep the real one and leave the dummy one behind, then plant the key in a more obvious spot for the next guy.

I wish the three-player journeys would go away entirely. Just leave the tribes together on the beach to figure shite out.

I don't think the "shots in the dark" were wasted, they essentially took out their votes and can say they didn't vote to kick Brandon out. Lauren didn't vote for him either. So he has only two known who voted against him. The only one left is Kane.
Trying to kick out the strongest player was a stupid play this early in the game with challenges being as physical as they were. How can the whole group look at the challenges and say a bunch of girls and a one-armed guy and an out of shape red head are going to win those types of challenges.

If Brandon doesn't do the coconut challenge to get them the supplies, they have none to take back and he doesn't wash out in the immunity challenge. Mathew getting hurt was on him and they really should have taken him out. He is a liability from now on.

If all the rest of these challenges are going to be that heavy and hard, they will lose half the players before the merge.
It was just a bad move and his vote was the one that took her out at the end.

True, but they also don't have that hail mary when they might really need it later in the game.

The purple tribe did just win without their biggest player, as usual it comes down to the puzzle and they were even faster to the puzzle despite being a small team without Bruce.

I agree with you that Brandon shouldn't have been the target. I would have gone for Lauren who was obviously on the shady side. Or Michael, depending on how bad his shoulder is.

She talks like a prepubescent 12 year old nerd girl.
