A billionaire getting away with almost destroying the world would actually be one of the least fantastical elements in this sequel

I was hoping they would adapt Superman Up in the Sky for the sequel, although you kinda need the Justice League for it and it's sort of the same story as Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow (Superman goes on a heroic cosmic quest to help a young girl)
I do hope there are more villains than just Lex - Brainiac or Metallo would be great.

I think it’s interesting that of the three pieces of art released, one shows Superman and Lex fighting each other (which happens to be the one shared by Hoult), while the other two seem to show Superman and Lex working together (possibly against Braniac or another villain).

I read some speculation that Man of Tomorrow refers to Lex and the movie is more about him, with Superman in a secondary role
