I'm thinking she might be Silver Banshee.
definitely silver banshee.
so, why did J'onnz have to run and hide after they got him loose? seems like he could just shape shift into a john doe.
also, i guess now that lucy is in charge she will pardon j'onnz and alex? or will she become super bitch again?

Good questions. I like how the show has progressed throughout the season. My concern is that they are doing too much in the first season and not have much to do in later seasons. For instance , J'onnz has been Hank Crenshaw for 10 years and no one ever suspected anything was different. All of a sudden Kara/Supergirl shows up and within 6 months he has shown his alien form to others 3 times. They could have used his coming out as an alien as a season cliffhanger. Left everyone going WTF?!!!!!!
Then another issue is practically every character that has relevance in the show knows that Kara is Supergirl. Cat is the only one who does not know with 100 percent certainty but she is smart and savvy enough to figure it out soon. That is one premise of the show that should take others years to figure out. Not within the time frame that has currently gone on.
Like I said it has progressed well. I just hope they pump the brakes a little before everything they do becomes stale and overused and will have to stretch things too far.

Yes, this has been my worry since the middle of the season. Idk what they are gonna come up with in season 2 or even a season 1 cliffhanger.

I guess the cliffhanger could involve her step dad ( Cain) being alive or under some mind control from another alien at that Alien Prison Camp they were sending J'onnz and Alex to. Or they could do a cliffhanger with Non severely damaging Supergirl in an epic battle with the "Myriad Project". I hope it is a good cliffhanger though.

This episode was packed to the gills with developments.
The only thing I didn't get was how Lucy just arbitrarily said Alex was lying and had her arrested after Alex had passed the polygraph test. That and her change of heart not long after doesn't ring true.
And no way does Cat not know Kara is Supergirl.

It is nice to see Channing Tatum's wife becoming a regular running the DEO

He's not just running and hiding, he's going off with Alex to find Cadmus and Papa Danvers.
But with that said, it would be ridiculous if he continues to keep Hanks's form while still being hunted.

I don't think Lucy has the power to pardon army prisoner escapees. She's just in charge of of the DEO, not the army.

I thought tonight's episode was great. Good way to incorporate The Flash into the universe they are in.

It was only one episode and I really ship Kara and Barry so hard. I'm really hating the fact this was a multiverse episode.
The chemistry and attraction between them was just popping out at you and you could really see how they instantly cared for each other.
Instead, Kara just wants lame arse James.
This was me the entire episode....

James and Kara have no chemistry together. It is so painful to watch. I have no idea why the writers continue that story line too. They are watching what we are watching right? It has to be noticeable when they are on set that a relationship between the 2 characters is not going to work.

Hopefully they cliffhanger tonight with the zombie like people put the kibosh on that and it's nothing more than ridiculous teases.
Barry and Iris? I just don't see it with them whatsoever.

Barry and Kara? Hell yes, they would make a fantastic couple. In fact, I would really love it if we could have a superhero show centered around a super hero couple and those two would be prime candidates even though a flash/supergirl pairing hasn't been done in cannon comics before and would be the first of its kind.

That would be a fantastic show. Who knows what could happen on a show where 2 superheroes are a super couple. I mean look at Gotham. They are creating their own versions of how the some of the villains and other characters are evolving. Giving them a unique spin that is different than other versions. It could work with Barry and Kara becoming a thing. I hope next season they bring him back for a 2 part episode. If there is another season bc last I heard no announcement has been made as of yet.

So the Flash brought me to Supergirl. 1st time seeing it, sorry but the show is just terrible. I mean Barry is the only one that brought any comedy relief to it. Supergirl seems so under utilized with her powers. I see why the show has not been officially renewed.

That's what happens when you put a superhero show on the grandparents channel.

It will be renewed or at least be moved to the CW.
Supergirl won't be one and done.

The show is not great by any means but it has progressed well from the first episode to now. The major issues I have with the show are the forced relationship with Kara and James and the fact that practically every person knows who Supergirl is. Not every show is going to be great immediately. Hell Seinfeld was horrible in its first season too. If they can minimize the relationship aspect of the show and have one main villain then it can be much better.

Lucy is a Major who is a trial counsel. Her father is a Lieutenant General.
Who do you think wins that one?

This episode was one of the worst so far. The inclusion of the Flash was so forced. The fx were lousy. Silver Banshee's makeup was comically bad. The side by side race between Supergirl and Flash was lame.
They didn't even try and explain how the Flash just suddenly appeared at the right tI'm and place to catch Kara. Livewire's snark comments were just beyond silly.
I could go on and on. Just a completely horrible script. Fortunately I think it was an aberration due to the crossover. I expect things to improve for the last two episodes of this season.
And I have little doubt the show will be renewed on CBS. The ratings don't suck and the critics haven't been too harsh.
