Funny how they tell on themselves by omitting the first Wonder Woman movie. Hmmm.
They can't understand or refuse to admit that it's Hollywood, not the 'toxic fans' who are consistently pushing an agenda which the fans aren't accepting.

This is what happens when you pander and tell gay outlets she doesn’t fit in the binary and goes both ways. Perfect, you politicized your movie (entire DCU actually) with the story and your actress’s retardation. Good job James

Reeve was unbelievable at that. Cavill never got the opportunity to be Clark really. He is Clark the last 5 seconds on Man of Steel and about 5 minutes in SvB. And zero on Justice League. I wish the movies would have let him explore that side more.
I watched both Snyder cuts of BvS and JL. BvS is a much better film than theatrical. JL is still way over the top with the music and slo-mo. But Snyder got one thing right. He nailed the casting.

And that’s the problem with James Gunn. He knows how to cast for goofy Clark Kent, but he still doesn’t know Superman.
There is Clark Kent, who works at the Daily Planet. Then there’s Kal El , a.k.a. Superman. Then there is also Clark as he is known by his family, and eventually Lois Lane, after she discovered identity.
James Gunn has to extend to inserting his own (breed swapped) dog and then stereotyping random redneck farmers that he associates with the Kent family. With all that he still doesn’t know Superman.

Marvel Studios could absorb the underperformance of “The Incredible Hulk” in 2008 because “Iron Man” had already created enough goodwill, novelty, and momentum to keep the experiment alive. The theatrical marketplace was healthier then. Superhero films were still ascendant, and the very idea of an interconnected cinematic universe was new enough to feel like a possibility rather than an obligation. Audiences had not yet spent nearly two decades being trained to follow post-credits scenes, multiverse homework, streaming side quests, cameo bait, and corporate roadmaps often disguised as storytelling.
For better or worse, DC does not get to build itself in that world. Its scaffolding has to be created in this one, where a superhero logo no longer guarantees a global audience.

Interesting that the OG for that thread doesn't mention the original Wonder Woman movie.

This is a pretty good point.
If you read All-Star Superman, you can distinctly see at least 3 different people:
Superman, as he is for most people
Clark Kent, as he is for most people
Then the combination of both, for those he closest to
Clark Kent is bumbling, a way of both making sure people never mistake him for Superman as well as being a way for Kal-El to just not always be "ON"
Superman is a bastion of truth, justice, and the American Way... striving to do what's right regardless if what's right is easy or hard.
The combination of the two... the honorable man who cares for his family and is vulnerable, but not goofy... is only truly visible to those who he is closest to. In the comics, outside of his Earthly parents and Lois, is limited mostly to Bruce Wayne and Wonder Woman (the three of which make up the Trinity in DC Comics)

It's what happens when you spend a remarkable amount of time looking for negativity about a movie you don't want to see.
The average person on Facebook or Instagram will never see content like this. I spend a large portion of my online time on movie-related content, and I have seen nothing like the post you shared. Just like I've seen nothing of the stuff you guys have claimed is all over socials about people blaming misogynists for Supergirl not making money. I read plenty of reviews calling the movie mediocre to bad, but what you claim see everywhere doesn't exist for me. 99% of people, including serious movie fans, see none of what you complain about, because we haven't curated our algorithms to be fuktarded.

And this is a problem with the mainstream media as well. The difference between the BBC and Fox News is gigantic.
The compartmentalization of media allowed for market capture for a specific slice of the total audience but the media also became captured by their audience.
That is, a self radicalization of reporting with the good team identified or supported and the bad team mocked in the form of a straw man. The audience now complains and punishes their media if they stray from a party aligned narrative.
To know something resembling the truth you have to watch multiple opposing media because I don't think any of them tell the whole truth about 95% of stories.

What the hell are you talking about
nobody thinks “everyone is against me” in terms of this movie, it’s a very loud and vocal minority of people online supporting the gay shite. They’re the reason studios cater to them and can’t figure out why nobody sees their movies. It showed up because it had a Dc hashtag

No Batman makes sense in that there's already an existing set of movies (as already stated).
Wonder Woman would've been much better than Supergirl; I can only presume that they didn't want to reboot TOO many characters at once.
That said... Black Canary or Zatanna, while not being big names, if done accurately could be very interesting (presuming you're willing to acknowledge their obvious appeal) - Zatanna having the extra bonus of introducing magic to the DCU.
