So this is the third and last image used to announce the cast.
Fillion, Na, Borg, Gunn, and Davidson are five of the eight actors in that picture, and they are all together in these shots from production.
That fact gives me one idea for the movie. At the beginning, Waller already has a new Suicide Squad, and these are the members, but they all lose and die in the first 10 mins of the movie, making way for the first page of characters to be (re)introduced.

As you can see from the word balloon in that comic panel, his accent is perfect for that character.

I honestly just thought that was acceptable dialect/styling of whatever time that panel came from. If they actually make the character German like Borg, and just let him go, it could be an incredible 5 mins before he is killed.
With characters like these, you can make up your own back story and no one will care. Javelin could be a former East German Olympic hopeful.....
edit:Oh and one of my most favorite things from Borg.

The Suicide Squad concept as the backdrop to that ensemble roster evokes memories of Smokin Aces, one of my favorite fun movies

I think I did myself a disservice by watching the animated Suicide Squad movie and Batman: Assault on Arkham. I can't get excited for the live action ones.

I know Harley Quinn and Capt. Boomerang. Don't have a clue who the other characters are.
