Not sure what Megan Fox did to her face but body still rockin. Future AI bots science fiction. Somewhat entertaining, but cheesy as well. More of a long Black Mirror episode. Give it a C

If AI is going to lead to maids like this, I think I'll take it

That was the perfect role for her. Stand there, look hot and have no emotion.

She's always been plastic looking in the face after her first? movie, but they turned the filter or whatever they're doing up a notch. I haven't finished it yet, but it's less of a waste of time than Earth Abides.

I'm glad you said this. I have the first two recorded but haven't watched them yet. The premise is cool to me, but there's something about it that made me not want to watch it yet. So I'm kinda on the fence about it...what do you not like about it?

I almost started a thread halfway through the first episode, but tried to commit to giving it 3 episodes. After watching S1E2, I started writing a thread, and then gave up because nobody watches MGM+ anyway (Rogue Heroes is coming back next month!)

Earth Abides is slightly heavy on the "Earth is correcting it's biggest mistake, us," sort of vibe, which wasn't entirely unexpected. To go from Bjorn Ironsides to this near emotionally idiotic geologist is jarring. It took me three sessions to get through E1 (no spoilers), which spent an hour establishing essentially no story other than bro sleeps through disaster, finds the library at UC Berkeley, finds power on in Vegas, struggles with mental illness, fin. Lots of useless narration by Bjorn, which generally sounded like it was meant for a tween. There is a temporary story line in E1 which was at least weird in a sort of crazy way, but it didn't last long (maybe 10m.)

I didn't crack so much as a grin until E2 when he decides he needs meat, and shoots a cow (instead of a rabbit) and then starts reading a book on how to break it down (again, in a period of no refrigeration.) This idiot is installing solar panels based on what he's reading among the 60 books he initially takes from the library, and then thinks to himself, "I'll shoot a giant animal I don't know how to break down, and can't carry, and then figure out what to do?" Huh?

More absolute stupidity with a moronic sub-plot with a story "fix" ten minutes later... It's very, very, bite sized.

Watched this movie yesterday. It's just not good. I was expecting something different but it is just like every move ever made like this. Same plot. It's The Hand that Rocks the Cradle AI version.

She still has a great body but she is no Transformers anymore.

Im also watching Earth Abides but man that show better get good soon or I am out.

Watched it today. The movie itself is pretty unremarkable as far as plot, writing, acting, just about everything. An extremely predictable plot. Kept thinking throughout the whole movie "there has to be some kind of twist here" but there wasn't. Just your typical run of the mill robot/ai takes over the world movie. If you've ever seen the old Disney movie Smart House it is just an adult version of that

Ive watched the first two episodes and it's decent. I'll probably give the third episode a watch. The part that bothered me and it includes some minor spoilers.
In the first episode, he gets but my a rattlesnake and never gets treatment from what I can remember. He then just wakes up weeks later and his hand is magically healed. Sorry, but venom doesnt work that way.
