As much as it sucks to wait 8 years for 5 seasons. If season 5 nails the landing this could go down as one of the all time greatest tv shows ever made. Unlike so many great shows that failed the final season and the ending the duffer brothers had ST ending mapped out back in 2016

need to wrap this thing up before one of those kids gets cast in a Marvel movie and gets on them roids.

They need to hurry this shite up. It's been so long, I barely care now. And that is fading by the year as this shite gets drawn out more and more. Not to mention the suspension of belief when the kids are full grown adults in like 10th grade.

I stopped after season 3 I think. Just way way too long in between and I don't feel like rewatching something again that wasn't THAT good to begin with. It's a good show, and the first season was one of the best seasons of TV that Netflix has ever done. But Netflix is dragging this out like it is the biggest cultural phenomenon ever and masses are waiting on pins and needles for it to air. Hate to break it to you Netflix, but this isn't Game of Thrones. Splitting up the season in parts was ridiculous as well and just added to my lack of interest.
I'm kind of to the point where I hope this bombs a little bit so Netflix maybe learns a lesson on how dumb it is to drag a show on so long.

Its ET meets the goonies meets everything that was good in the 80's. The show hasn't had a bad season.

A very close to me relative has been doing extra work. He's 23, so if everyone in 10th grade is in their 20s as well maybe the age leaps won't be as jarring.

Of course it has nostalgia and has a great feel to it. Hit's the 80's perfect. Never said it didn't. That's not breaking news and has nothing to do with why I stopped watching.

Season 4 was like a rated R version of Season 1. It was absolutely badass. Had a Nightmare on Elm Street vibe to it.

I think people are having dementia when it comes to this show because season one started in 2016. This show is fantastic
