Steve, Nancy and Dustin crew try to bring Vecna into the real world since he’s too powerful in the Upside Down but it turns out this is exactly what he wants and ends up taking over Will’s body ala Mind Flayer and Billy

I could see her “Hopper dying” where it looks like she’s gone only to make it through off screen like Hopp and the explosion.

I have a feeling someone like Brenner will be the ultimate big bad somehow. Just a lot of emotion there to capitalize on.

The brothers said season 5 is a continuation of season 4. So I assume he will still be around.

I’m thinking the same thing and wouldn’t be surprised if 11 ends up in trapped in The Upside Down while everyone else thinks she’s gone. The final two episodes are the length of movies so it’s a safe bet that something unexpected might happen.

The Mind Flayer is still the top boss. Vecna is his general. The Mind Flayer has been completely forgotten in all of this, and that’s weird to me. Only has Dustin mentioned him in his explanation of how Vecna fits into everything

I know Dustin is somehow right about every single theory he has, but I'd rather he be wrong about this one. I think it would be cooler if the Mind Flayer was a creation of Vecna.

Yeah, That's a lot more interesting than just some mysterious generic evil force from another dimension.
The fact that 11 opened up the portal the UD and 1 was trapped there and figured out how to manipulate the void into weapons that can cross back into Earth has way more layers to it.
