So the writers could have just let El kill the monster all by her self again? That would have been lazy writing. Lol

Eta.
Cons
Erica was actually ok for a couple of minutes but got over used. Maybe Erica represents the people who don't get the silliness of Suzie's song as she stares at Dustin.

Will grabbing his neck, every dam time.

Joyce was repetitive.

And you can nitpick logic but when you are fighting a monster with fireworks from the upside down does it really matter.

I mean yeah, that's my point. Instead of being creative and thinking of ways to write her character with the abilities they've already established for her, they take the easy exit and disable her powers. With no actual explanation.

Well they did allude to her overusing her powers and that hurting her (or the powers) potentially. So it’s not like it wasn’t addressed at all. But I get what you mean though.

And I also assume Hopper is alive, since they referred to “The American” during the credits scene.

And I thought they already confirmed a fourth (and final) season a while back?

Not a fan of my boy Jon Byers becoming basically a background character

Just finished.

Loved it.

One weirdly small thing has been on my mind:

There is a scene in the first half of the episodes where someone flings open a door and sticks a double barreled shotgun in someone’s face and you hear the shotgun pumping.

I’ve wondering if that was just a typical Hollywood mistake re how guns operate or if that was a clever nod to how fast and loose 80’s movies were with regards to how guns really work.

My only gripe with this season is it is confusing how some days progressed. It'd be morning...then all a sudden night.

Finished it up today. I actually liked it. Obviously season 1 was the best. But dig the 80s nostalgia. Like how the ending hasn't always been happy.

Will definitely tune in next season.

I'm saying

This guy

has apparently done the right amount of cocaine and figured out the right speed to travel on a motorcycle to Quantum Leap into his son.

Even though I thought the Newspaper meeting scenes were a bit over the top and somewhat unbelievable, I thought Jake Busey had some funny lines in it.

Hopper is definitely alive. He looks at the gate before he looks at Joyce and gives her the OK, which’s shows the audience he’s going in.

Also, there were two or three shots of the spot he was standing and clearly no bones or other blood remains like there were with the scientists in episode 1. Plus, there was a ladder in front of the portal for him to climb down.

I was interested so I googled and others think the same thing. There’s a lot in this article I didn’t remember about Hopper or didn’t make the connections; they seem to think his arch isn’t near completed and they talk about CIA/NSA activities, his other daughter and Hawkins Lab from S1/S2, etc.

Hopper ending explained

Season two was set during Halloween and three was set during the 4th of July. I bet next season will be spring. Christmas was glimpsed at briefly in season one but it would be hard to show the neighborhoods in snow considering the show films in Atlanta. That'd be a lot of snow to import for Nancy's/Hopper's house, etc.

I’m an Uber fan boy. Enjoyed Endgame, and GOT final season.

This season ST was awesome. These kids are good at acting in their specific roles and I’m shocked Erica and Robin were inputted without any hitch. I don’t care about the political/sexuality stuff that truly happens in real life and oh well.

My wife shows me something cool with Hopper’s daughter’s pony tail holder. His daughter wore it in a flash back, he’s worn it on his wrist, before Hopper went into the Russian base him and L both had their hands in it, when L reads the letter she’s wearing it.

They seem to foreshadow Thanksgiving/Christmas when the kids were talking at the end.

Just watched some behind the scenes video on YouTube. They showed the Wheelers basement, and it was decorated for Christmas. The actor who plays Dustin was showing the audience arround, and he commented on how it was odd it was decorated like that

It was good. A little too kiddy. I know I know....

Hate to waste Billy as a bad guy on here. Would be a legit villain in a Blockbuster super hero movie.
