That was the cartoonish Trade Federation alone at that point.

Bryce Dallas Howard's character in the first "Jurassic World."
Pawns off her nephews on her assistant because she can't take the time to be an aunt. Assistant dies a terrible death after doing nothing wrong.
Doesn't listen to/back up Chris Pratt when he tells her/them to use deadly force on the Indominus rex because of the company's bottom line. Security personnel die horrible deaths.
Doesn't listen to Chris Pratt when he tells her to shut down the park and evacuate the tourists to safety because she's the boss and girl power! Innocent people die horrible deaths.
Lots of not listening to folks which puts others in danger with not consequences to her character. Somehow outruns the T-rex in heels (obviously she was a prostitute to pay her way through college because only whores can run that well in heels) to have a heroic moment. Finds love at the end.
(I still highly enjoyed that movie for what it was, though.)

I rooted for the Strike Team in The Shield, even though they were arguably as shitty as some of the criminals they went after

you're not supposed to root for the guy dying from cancer trying to find ways to pay for his treatment and provide for his family?

Oh yeah, he’s just trying to take care of his family, that excuses multiple murders, assaults, including poisoning a small child, tax fraud and God knows what else he could be charged with
And BTW at the end he admits it’s jot about “taking care of his family” but him making up for his own colossal frick up with Gray Matter.

Just so I cover every questionable topic about the Empire.
Alderaan needed to be destroyed. The only proof we have of the planet being peaceful is from its own princess. The planet was in clear rebellion and it’s existence and influence would have led to a larger war and rebellion. It’s destruction is comparable to the Atom Bombs used in WWII. More lives were saved in crushing it then.
There is no Imperial Racism. The information is rebel propaganda. Palpatine’s closest advisor, Mas Amedda is not human. Humans are also the most populous species throughout the galaxy and army’s backbone was built on cloned humans. It should be no shock that it remains that way.
Slavery was around a millennia before the Empire even existed. There is also not a single mention of Imperial Slavery that is not propaganda or that doesn't try to paint criminal elements serving the Empire in restitution for their crimes.
Obviously in an government as large as this one, some will overstep their bounds and power and break the rules. We know how the Empire deals with these individuals.
The First Order is not the Empire. Their goals and policies are its own and not related.
Wonder why stormtroopers never can actually shoot anyone? They are almost always under distinct orders to seize and transport. They only use deadly force in extreme circumstances like the rebel attack on a on Endor or the elimination of the rebel base on Hoth.
People choose to side with the rebels because they are extremists and because it’s a challenge of the status quo. They can be directly compared to modern day liberals in how they act towards the government trying to maintain peace and the values in which they hold dear.

Very Bad Things
It took me a long time to go to another bachelor party after that movie without nervously waiting for the whole fricking world to unravel.

it was posted with tongue in cheek, bruv.
so you took him telling skylar that he liked it because he was good at it and because it made him feel alive as "making up for gray matter?" its mentioned a few times throughout the show in a passing matter that he shouldn't have taken the buy-out, but he didn't do all of that because of gray matter.
