It will cost $7.99 per month extra to add another user to your account.

Starting today, we will be sending this email to members who are sharing Netflix outside their household in the United States.

A Netflix account is for use by one household. Everyone living in that household can use Netflix wherever they are — at home, on the go, on holiday — and take advantage of new features like Transfer Profile and Manage Access and Devices.

We recognize that our members have many entertainment choices. It’s why we continue to invest heavily in a wide variety of new films and TV shows — so whatever your taste, mood or language and whoever you’re watching with, there’s always something satisfying to watch on Netflix.

Meh, I haven't found a bunch I wanted to watch anyway on Netflix recently. I'd be glad to get rid of it.

Nowadays, pretty much every other streaming service has better stuff than Netflix, IMO

Extraction 2 is probably the only new content I'm interested in.

I've been saying that for 18 months.

My family always finds something next to watch.

I will be canceling youtube tv and adding Max once hockey playoffs are over.

the last two years they had some big beginning of the year trailer for everything coming up and i was always excited for something. the only ones i've really liked the last two years were you people, don't look up, red notice, adam project, knives out 2, grey man, extraction.

if you consider the fact that they release multiple movies every week over the last 2 years, that's not impressive.

That's what I did, drop them. Not that I was particularly mad at them, it's just I had run out of things I wanted to watch on there and once they lost Star Trek TOS and the Twilight Zone I was out

So does that mean they will automatically start booting from subscriptions or charging $7.99?

So, I don’t have anything, no streaming services, no cable, etc.

If I want to watch a movie, I’ll usually just buy the dvd…

That said, if y’all were in my position and considering adding a streaming service at home, which one would be the choice?

How are they cracking down? How do they know if I am using someone's account or just traveling 325 days a year?

In my household, it would be Netflix.

I probably watch paramount the most.

We've had hbomax in the past and binged game of thrones. Dropped it shortly afterward.

The IP addresses and devices. It would be quite easy for them to see streaming TVs/boxes in different locations. I would imagine they aren’t cracking down on mobile traffic because that would be harder to feel confident it’s outside the household.

There is literally nothing I’m watching on Netflix right now.

I’m borderline considering canceling it too

Seems like they could only restrict how many concurrent streams they allow for an account. So if you’re only allowed 2-3, the person paying the bill isnt going to like sharing if they’re constantly getting booted due to max streams.
