I won’t watch because I do care about Star Wars.

This is silly. You should be hoping there is at least a small chance this movie can remove the foul taste from your mouth left by the last piece of shite.

Kennedy said she plans to make key decisions about the direction of the franchise in the coming weeks. But some things she already knows. While the “Skywalker” saga is ending, the company won’t abandon the characters created in the most recent trilogy. Additionally, she said, the plan is to move beyond trilogies, which can be restricting.

“I think it gives us a more open-ended view of storytelling and doesn’t lock us into this three-act structure,” she said. “We’re not going to have some finite number and fit it into a box. We’re really going to let the story dictate that.”

I’m somewhat excited to see this movie. It’s more of a nostalgia thing though and less excitement for the actual movie

More like, it allows us to keep churning out movies as long as the films keep making money.

Literally all of them said they were done. Of course, depending on their post-Star Wars movie career success, they may decide to come back.

You "won't watch" because Disney ruined your childhood, but you'll make sure to steal it just to show them.

I don’t understand why anyone would want to see this movie.

It must be akin to pulling over and watching a gruesome car wreck scene?

Well you never know, it could be because someone is lying about a film theory student hating A New Hope. Who knows.

I can feel the urge to keep watching the Mandalorian and waiting for this to hit Disney+ I will admit.

I admit that I’m one of the only ones I know that is not going to see this movie.

Most of my family members/friends/acquaintances have the same answer. Only a couple are enthused about seeing it. The overwhelming majority of them are like “not looking forward to it but might as well see how it ends.”

It’s like they have to see it even though they aren’t looking forward to it. It’s a weird phenomenon.
