Doubtful. Many of the die hards have read the spoilers and know the entire plot to the movie, myself included, and absolutely hate the road they went down.

The whole third act destroys the first six films of the saga and marks them as wholly unnecessary.

All the real Star Wars fans read the spoilers, because Rian gutted them of their passion for the series. They wanted to see how it ended, without having to be subjected to another blow.

The only people who liked episode 8 were people who hated Star Wars.

Jeremy Jahns is now trending on Twitter because of his review.

Imperial guard fight was cool, though

That scene was very poorly executed.

It got up to 62% on Rotten Tomatoes but has fallen back down to 59% on the review aggregator.

This pleases me.

This is good. Jeremy Jahns, my go-to YouTube critic, released his review and he was clearly pissed off by the whole movie:

He was spot on when he said " Ive never seen a stormtrooper turn good in the films before and they do nothing with it...just make him the sidekick"

How could you not use this interesting plot point as a main point?? smdh Disney

As long as it stays below 80% I will be happy. The worse the reviews are, the more likely this thing sees a massive drop in its second weekend, thus making it more likely that Kathleen Kennedy is forced to resign from her position at Lucasfilm.

Eventually she'll retire or move on to something else, and y'all will finally be able to scream that you got her.

Rian Johnson Says Catering to Fans, Rather Than Challenging Them, Is a ‘Mistake’

Looks like he got the roles mixed up. His job isn’t to challenge the customers. The challenge falls upon the film maker to create a quality movie. The customers’ role is to view and judge wherever the art is good or not.

He failed and now he’s use this “challenge” angle as an excuse. Like some how it’s the fans fault that they didn’t get it, that they didn’t “meet the challenge”.

If I ever cheat on my wife and she catches me, I’ll just say I was challenging her loyalty. Thanks Rian.

I don't mind being challenged. But I feel like filmmakers can challenge an audience while also making a product that satisfies them at the same time. I feel like Empire Strikes Back successfully challenged the audience and entertained them at the same time.

Other franchise films such as The Dark Knight and Casino Royale successfully challenged the audience while also keeping them entertained. The Last Jedi did shite just for the sake of doing it without any regard for the fans.

AOTC is one of the worst movies i've seen in a movie theater

TLJ was bad, but nowhere near that bad. it is a flawed movie and a terrible middle act of a trilogy, but it's in another stratosphere from AOTC

after AOTC i was leaving the theater and yelled at my friend "frick GEORGE LUCAS"

There really wasn't anything very redeeming about Attack of the Clones. The Phantom Menace at least had pod racing and that awesome duel between Maul and the Jedi at the end. Attack of the Clones had way too much CGI, all of which is now extremely dated, terrible dialogue, wooden acting, and a climax that just felt underwhelming. As much as I disliked TLJ, I still rank it over Attack of the Clones.

I will rank the Star Wars films like so:

1. Empire Strikes Back
2. A New Hope
3. Revenge of the Sith (yeah, I like it, sue me)
4. Return of the Jedi
5. Rogue One
6. The Force Awakens
7. Solo
8. The Phantom Menace
9. The Last Jedi
10. Attack of the Clones

I won't see Rise of Skywalker until it's on Disney+.

Dude...don't even acknowledge him. It's what he wants and by even mentioning his name it's like drawing a moth to a flame.

Seriously, just ignore him.

He trolls any thread relating to Star Wars.

You’ll notice that no one else is responding to him.
