Justice League and Suicide Squad posted massive earnings as well. One of CBS's all time most profitable sitcoms was "The Big Bang Theory". This means nothing in relation to how good the product will be.

Exactly. The leaks that are out there break down every act and every trailer that has been released have confined these leaks.
Do yourself a favor and look on Reddit for them. Read them and then decide if you think it’s something worth seeing or it’s a steaming pile of garbage like most people think it’s going to be.

Im not saying it wont under perform, but Solo was a stand alone with bad marketing and no anticipation. This is the conclusion of a 9 part story that a lot people have a decent amount of time invested, it has been marketed like crazy and has a boatload of anticipation.
I've seen multiple people use Solo as a comparison and it just isnt the same situation.

I miss the old days where movies came out and you heard from critics and friends and decided from that, not leaks on the internet.
Especially about Star Wars. There is no middle ground. It's people who think TLJ was the worst movie ever or people who are ready to give over their firstborn for a second viewing.

The leaks aren’t horrible. Reminds me a lot of ROTS actually in terms of quality. The huge problem is that JJ didn’t get to do EP 8.
It won’t be a great conclusion but it will be one I can find some satisfaction in, just as I did when I thought Episode 3 was the finale. Outside of TLJ and Solo, all of the movies do have some enjoyable moments/scenes in them. Pod racing/Duel of the Fates in TPM, Kamino/Genesosis scenes from AOTC, the opening, the pre confrontation and then confrontation scene, and the final duel in ROTS were all great scenes. Rogue one’s entire 3rd act, the Kylo/Rey duel, the Falcon flight scene, Han confronting Kylo, the ascension on Ach-to were all great.
None of these movies were ever perfect, they all had at least some great moments save for TLJ and Solo which brought nothing to the franchise and only took from it.
I know some ignoramuses (ignorami?) will say TRoS is horrible no matter what and some idiots will defend every single second of it no matter what. The real fans will savor what’s good and contemplate what could have been.
