that whole thing is so bizzare...for one it's kind of emblematic. Johnson has no idea how to be subtle about anything which is why there's just exhausting amounts of exposition.
it's not even innuendo or suggestion, it's more than that, but it's not quite explicit (luke jacking off a dude while rey watches)
it's also gag humor that destroys a scene.

I’ll read this one but I don’t have the time to read a bunch of blah blah bullshite that I’ve read a million times in the past week.
As to that other post, no I don’t think it’s great to have 4 stories going on for two and a half hours. I won’t defend that and think it was a bad decision. We saw that in the prequels.
There are certain criticisms I see that keep getting posted that I will discuss and defend because I think the hate is unwarranted.

I have more anticipation for episode 9 than any other Star Wars movie now....
I now know there will be a new story arch and characters entirely, and not the same as before

How do you know that? What makes you think a single relevant new character will be introduced? And what new story arch?
Kylo and Hux vs Rey and the resistance is hardly new either character or story wise
