Man I’ve been around for some whoppers but I’ve never left a theater feeling like that 
There were red flags, but then I saw the trailer and decided at the very least it couldn’t suck

"There is no way the critics really gave this movie 93% on rotten tomatoes. Disney paying folks"- people who hate the last jedi.
"There is no way fans really gave this movie 54% on rotten tomatoes. There must be bots and trolls" - People who loved the last jedi.
Both sides of the extreme are funny to read.

Just saw the movie
Full disclaimer I enjoy Star Wars, am no super fan though, have seen all the movies, but am 30 years old so I was not alive for the original trilogy
Holy shite people are melting like lunatics
It was a solid fun movie that felt exactly like all the Star Wars movies before
Luke eventually had to die guys, and he died exactly how Luke would want to go out. At peace watching a sunset knowing the light is not dead....
