Anyone else think it was funny that the 2nd or 3rd in command of First Order was a Weasley?

Chewy should have been the one to console with Leia after Han died, not Rey.

Leia knows her. Eitheshe is Luke's daughter or they are going the twins route.

Saw it tonight

Was awesome

Still trying to process the fact that one of the most iconic movie heroes of all time is gone just like that

I loved the cinematography. The lightsaber fight in the snow was gorgeous.

Female heroines are stale. Every movie has them now.

Dumbass. 51% of the population is female. Having a female hero isn't some kind of trend

likely his daughter
It sounds clichéd but it pretty much has to be, right? Cryptic separation flashbacks, force sensitivity without even trying, master starship pilot without even trying.

My only question is who the baby momma. Anakin's daddy was the force. Did Luke rub one out the wrong way?

That really shouldn't matter much considering he had been training with a light saber for at least a few years.

You think it was a bad decision or it was just tough for you to see? I thought it was absolutely necessary. You need the audience to hate kylo ren. Up to that point he was just an intimidating dude with a mask

Even if they do know each other, chewy walks right past her. No fricks given.

Han is one of my favorite characters of all time. I wanted him to go out in a blaze of glory on one last wild ride in Falcon taking out the death planet

I agree, but he did order the execution of a shitload of unarmed prisoners too.

Yeah that and there was no way in hell Harrison Ford was signing up for more than one movie and it was a point of negotiation for his character to die.

They actually made great use of it.

I thought the way he went out was even more powerful. We got to see a vulnerable side to him and he was making one last effort for Leia

Ok, genius, tell me where the movie would benefit with having a male protagonist? It's entirely stale with Star Wars, would make it repetitive, I don't think it would have the same level of heart if it were revolving around a male character, the character wouldn't have as many abandonment issues and have no problem leaving Jakku, and I don't think a male character would be as believable in the Jakku environment and upbringing and end up all that close to Rey. This story entirely benefits from the protagonist being a woman. It's the logical evolution of the series. As I said, not one filmmaker (save Jorge or Emmerich) would have chosen a male over a female to be the hero of this story.

What are the theories on who Rey is related to?
