I've been playing the video game Star Wars Outlaws and just realized it has some of the same characters as this show

Whoa, really? That game is very good and the characters are interesting. Might have to check this show out.

I agree, this show has a lot of intrigue and mystery. The kids acting is not great, but it’s good enough for the show. Jude Law has been great and balancing working with kids but showing this more sinister back story.

Could he be the one of Jedi kids who escaped the temple during the fall of the Jedi? Getting in with the pirates could have helped him evade the Empire. Age kind of lines up to make him about the same age as the heros when the Jedi fell. I feel like he would be more powerful and feared by the the other pirates if he was a dark force user.

Also, the people of at attin don't even know about the the fall of the old republic. With it being a mint, is it something Palpatine hid to finance his plans including his resurgence?

I think law's character is possibly more interesting than the planet. Great show so far.

That whole last episode was space goonies. Was waiting for the elephant kid to say "booby twaps".

Fun show

I am starting to think there is something else besides treasure for him. He almost seems disinterested when it comes up now

I watched the lastest episode and this show is great. It feels like Star Wars, and the plot is really good. Im really interested in how Jude Law is using the force of he’s not a Jedi. I can’t wait to see how it wraps up.

100% agree with this. People complaining about lesbian space witches is one thing, but when Disney+ puts out a pretty good Star Wars show a lot of those same people are still complaining just to be complaining.

Now this is Star Wars. Amazing what a good story with no forced SJW pandering looks like

It’s good, but it is not Andor or the Mandolorian, where those are geared towards older audiences.

It is in the genre of what Star Wars can and should be when targeting a younger crowd. The show is carrying the same “wild space adventure theme” of the original series and the tone of Goonies.

I thought that dad was a pirate, now I think the supervisor is the pirate captain. I'm not good at guessing but maybe this time. Plus nice goonies borrowing from the last epsiode

I hadn’t thought of the dad being a pirate, but had the same thought on the captain being the supervisor too. What I can’t figure out is timing though. I don’t recall how old that ship is and the story that they told about the pirate. Does the timeline fit for him to still be alive? I think Jod is starting to put it all together and figured he needed to be the captain to continue to adventure, but they are making it look like he is stabbing the kids in the back.

I'm just hoping the pirate legend isn't some Dread Pirate Roberts deal.

Another solid episode. The new ship, the stop-motion crab, Wim saving KB, and Jod/Jack’s speech.

Here is a behind the scenes clip about designing the crab.

I'm looking for recommendations on what Star Wars show to watch next.
Did the HULU/Disney/ MAX bundle. It's the 1st time I've had Disney.
Really like The Mandalorian.

I'm nearly finished with Season 3.

Is The Clone Wars series what I should start next?

Andor. It’s the best Star Wars content since Return of the Jedi. I watched it with my son. Loved it. Wife just went upstairs and read a book each week. She’s less than impressed with my Star Wars shows. After it had finished I convinced her to give it a try and we rewatched the whole season one weekend. She loved it too.

If you watch Clone Wars, look for an episode guide that puts them in chronological order.
