Initial thought is what if Padame was a sith?
Anakin has a stupid fricking haircut in this movie
Can you legally star pilot with only one eye?
I can buy Amidala becoming a senator. But the lead of the loyalist committee? Naboo almost got fricked over by the Senate in the last movie.
Anakin is so whiny in this movie.

Who wouldn’t love to be watched by cameras in their bedroom.
After all this time, they didn’t do shite about his mom? It’s not that hard. It’d take like 2 days to rescuer her.
Those millipede things are creepy.
I do like this chase scene even though there’s a lot of really stupid stuff in there I don’t like.
Anakin definitely just assumed the bounty hunter’s gender.
Jumping out of the speeder is ridiculously stupid
Librarian is a bitch
Star Wars luggage looks a lot like modern luggage.
Anakin is such a creep
Kominos don’t quite hold up in CGI
I reiterate again I wouldn’t mind living on Naboo
Padame rejects Anakin. And then goes on a romantic picnic? Also, wide open space would be very easy to assasinate someone. Horrible security job.
That kominoian was naked.
The asteroid field battle is pretty cool.

I definitely find this the weakest of the prequel trilogy simply due to the awkwardness of Anakin and Padme. Obi-wan's plot is actually not that bad though.

His beard is though. My only critique of Ewan as Obi-Wan.
I still give the edge to TPM because of Maul and Qui-Gon, but it’s a close race solely because AOTC introduced the most satisfying sound effect in Star Wars. You know you can hear this gif.

Cool sound. The best part of AOTC is Jango vs Obi Wan on kamino and the subsequent chase.

Yeah, I always thought it was odd that the Jedi just straight up leave her to be a slave. Even weirder is that Anakin doesn't really hold that fact against them as he turns to the dark side. He's mad about her dying but he mostly took that out on the Sand People. You'd think a major part of his rage would have been b/c they abandoned his mother essentially so they could train him to become a weapon.

Now THIS is the bad prequel movie. I absolutely love Star Wars but this one is tough to get through because of the romance

The Tatooine scenes are relatively decent… the Naboo scenes ain’t.
