Doomcock, whose sources have been spot on for months now, is reporting that these same sources are telling him the following:

- George Lucas was heavily involved in the re-shoots that JJ Abrams and the rest of the cast and crew were working on almost up to the last minute.

- A George Lucas Cut of the film now exists and was also screened in front of test audiences.

- Of the between 5-12 cuts reportedly shown to test audiences since the start of 2019, the George Lucas Cut scored the highest with audiences. The overall score was an 88.

- It featured over 30 minutes of new footage and included a secret Skywalker. According to Doomcock's source, this cut was not merely adequate...but excellent.

- This cut was Lucas's baby through and through. But it wasn't used. Final cut approval rested with....wait for it....Kathleen Kennedy. And she decided to go with a different cut of the film (reportedly a hybrid of the JJ Abrams Cut and the Bob Iger Cut).

I'm assuming this is the reason George Lucas was not invited to the premiere the other night.

Yea, I love how adding a second lightsaber to the mix all of a sudden makes it reflect so much better

Either it reflects with one lightsaber or it doesn't. Bringing another into the mix won't do anything besides make you have to brace a full lightsaber with one arm each.

George Lucas has Disney by the BALLS.

Why even bring him on? And why would he agree to it after the way he’s been sidelined in the past?

I think I remember someone saying it was JJ Abrams who decided to bring Lucas onto the film as a consultant.

Maybe because he cares about star wars that much. Watching a bad star wars is like watching his child in pain.

Have you seen the footage of George signing over the franchise to Disney? The man looked like he was severe pain, like someone shot his dog.

George definitely regrets giving it over to Disney now if I had to guess.

this cut will never see the light of day. it will be a fable used to re-make these three movies in a decade.

The Saga should officially end at Return of the Jedi. It was a perfect ending.

Does Anakin/Vader even matter anymore?

Nope. It is awful. They retconned out one of the best redemption stories.
