5 seasons.

Let that sink in.
They may very well have contracted for that many. Picard did for 3. It's pretty standard now.

Started with a bit of promise (at least the concept - a Klingon war, the Federation's first interaction with cloaking tech, the captain being from the Mirror Universe, etc.) and then just... sabotaged itself.

The best, and possibly only, good contribution of Discovery.

Don't mind me folks - I'm just in the thread to read other folks' thoughts on this.

I'm not watching Picard and they can't make me, by the way.

I'm super stoked Discovery is dead.

(ETA: I'm not watching SNW, either.)

if they can save Halo

We live in a timeline where Halo NEEDS to be saved.

Imagine 20 years ago, as this game was blowing up, thinking how awesome that this would be made into a series, and then THAT happened.

Should have been canceled before it was even picked up

Only in years, nowhere near the number of episodes.

Yet they had 5 years so its a pretty solid foundation and the bed rock to their series.

My God that's amazing news If they have to actually hire and produce on the basis of quality maybe more things will be worth watching

They won’t.

This woke agenda is like a religion for the people who run Hollywood and they will push it until the studios have to declare outright bankruptcy.

Look at Disney. They just lost $123B in 2022 and are still pushing this garbage. How personally invested would you have to be in a political/social agenda to sign off on losing $123B and 44% of your market value in a year?
