always bothered me they killed off the second best character on the show in year 2, but kept that sad sack angel around for all 8 seasons.

Again, it's like Ned. The nature of his character bucked the system too much too soon. His end was in his nature.

I think the way *spoliers* works in a thread title is that you are only allowed to post spoilers about the show in question, and doesn't carry over to spoiling character deaths in completely unrelated shows

That was in the first season. If you haven't gotten around to it by now your lack of interest is the primary issue.

I appreciate the OP being careful, but we aren't talking about spoilers from a show that came out this year or even 2015.

I think 5 and a half years after that episode aired is more than enough time that you should've known or you missed the nonspoiler boat.

Major characters constantly dieing on GoT is well known and that death is almost 6 years old.

So no harm there.

Doesn't matter, that piece of shite deserved it.

Damn, I was just about to mention how the Dexter finale reminded me of Samuel Beckett never returning home.

That's irrelevant. This thread is about Dexter. The SPOILER tag applies to things about dexter. Believe it or not, there may actually be some people who haven't gotten around to GOT yet but plan to...coming to a thread about Dexter and getting GOT spoilers is shitty any way you spin it.
