Background: Far From Home will be the last Marvel movie for at least 1 year to 2 years. The end credit scene will have to be something that is almost a cliff hanger but leaves the audience at the edge of their seat ready for phase 4.

Scene: Early in Far From Home, Peter will be filling out Internship applications since technically His mentor is gone.

End Credit Scene: Peter gets home from Europe and his Aunt May says he's got some mail for him. Peter open the letter and it says he has been accepted into the Intern Program at the Baxter Foundation.

Black Widow comes out next May so that's almost a year from Far From Home

10 months =/= at least a year. That’s about 3 weeks more than the time from Ant-Man and the Wasp to Captain Marvel.

I like it but how often will Spider-Man movies be coming out? If they go with that scene, they’re committing to making a FF choice fairly soon.

Logically FF makes the most sense to bring in from Disney’s new Fox properties. XMen in this universe should stay separate. And Reed Richards gives you a nice replacement for Tony’s tech savvy.

I don’t think the introduction of the Fantastic Four are even anywhere close down the pipeline to be honest. The next movies that are confirmed are Doctor Strange 2, Black Panther 2, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, and a loosely confirmed Black Widow movie. Plus Marvel has said Namor will be introduced in one of BP2 or DS2, so I think that’s a character leading to a project I’d imagine they’d like to work on. And additionally, Thor 4 has been pitched to Marvel yet to be greenlit.

So there’s a ton of already established stuff they are ready to roll with

for the most part, yes quite a few movies are greenlit. But none of the movies have started pre-production yet. so it will be at least a year. I do not count black widow movie a main part of phase four because it will take part in the past and shouldn't have that much to add for the future.

Where has this been announced?

All I heard was that they green lit the film to be released sometime in 2020.

And given if things are that vague at this point, its logical to be later rather than earlier.

The main reason to introduce the FF would be for Dr. Doom. They need to set him up as the next big bad. Doom or Galactus. Doom has so much potential and they can do something special with him.

If and when they make a FF, they need to make a homer in casting Richards and Doom.

Who would you guys like to see cast as Doom and Richards?

Any body but NipTuck and shitty Lancelot.

I guess the real question is where do you want to start them? Do you want a young Reed, or and older Reed closer to Tony’s age?

I’m guessing this is pre powers Reed people would wonder why the FF wasn’t involved in any of the earth conflicts before. We know why but you get what I’m saying. So I guess you would be casting a younger up and coming hot shot scientist, so late 20s early 30s. You are correct the casting needs to be nailed. I could see Emily Blunt as the invisible girl, somebody in the vein of Tom Hardy as the thing. Is Cillian Murphy young enough to play early 30s Reed? Human Torch will be some up and comer like when Holland was cast as Spider-Man.
This is a good question because the casting for the FF needs to be totally on point.

I have zero idea about Doom.
