Yeah but couldn’t he make it at the apartment and bring the cure back to stranges basement?

but then the movie wouldn't happen.

Yeah no I understand that, it was just the first thing I thought of, wanted to see if they had an explanation of why in the movie…

When they were sent back, wonder if they created variants
I think there are 7 new timelines that are created which makes sense if you watched Loki. Timelines started branching left and right.
New variant timelines:
1. Goblin never dies at SM1
2. Doc Ock never dies but returns to a timeline where Osborn is dead
3. Sandman returns to a timeline similar to where he was where Goblin and Doc Ock had already died, the only difference now though is that he isn't Sandman
4. Lizard returns to a timeline where he is cured
5. Electro returns to a timeline where he is cured but where the that Dollar Tree Green Goblin is still active in ASM2
6. Tobey Peter returning to a timeline similar to one he returned to before but he now has closure for what happened to Doc Ock and Goblin
7. Garfield Peter returning to something similar to #6

A thought occurred to me when Ned said "and I won't come back and try to kill you". That's exactly what he did when he becomes the Hobgoblin .....

Maybe the fact that every peter parker is better than dr fauci with 5 vaccines in a days work that cures 5 very different types of villains is where i am struggling in a world with Dr Strange and the multiverse. That is too much for me to enjoy 2 years in on a pandemic born in 2019.
You probably also laugh at "snowflakes getting triggered". Meanwhile, you're seeing covid and Fauci in fricking Spider Man movies. You should check on your kid's cartoons. That little commie Bluey is probably teaching them to share everything.

Yep, Instead of asking for everyone to forget who spiderman is, except the people he mentions. Peter couldve just asked strange to cast a spell to make everyone forget about mysterio and what he ever said. But this movie was awesome. I wouldnt change a thing about it. I just hope they dont make a venom appearance without Tom Hardy.

In the comics, Ned Leeds becomes the Hobgoblin.
Which made his quote about promising to not become a villain and try to kill Peter was so amusing

Harry never goes down his destructive path. Doesn’t find his dad’s secret closet. Doesn’t try to destroy Spiderman…
Wait, does that mean he’s not able to sacrifice himself to save Spider-Man & that Venom wins?

I'm thinking that they all returned to the moment before their deaths, dying with confused regret instead of rage.

No one noticed the odd crossover where the new Matt Murdock is giving legal advice to the old Foggy Nelson?

Wasn't happy about them changing the words to the School House Rock "Three is a Magic Number" song in the credits.

I’d ask for your money back.

You’re oversimplifying it. If you watch the movie Spider-Man was given the option to send them back to their dimensions/universes where most of them had been killed/defeated but instead tries to find the good in them all and ultimately rectifies in each one the thing that made them a villain in the first place. Idk if it’s follows a comic book plot per se but it was an interesting twist and is what makes Spider-Man such a great hero.

I think most people try to forget the Ben Affleck version of Daredevil and don’t even remember a young John Favreau being in the movie.
Matt catching the brick and then claiming he’s “a very good lawyer“ was perfect.

No way they do a "proper Black Cat" in this woke world.

Not if they get an annoying actress like the one for Cowboy Bebop. Who complained to the manager about her costume and ridiculed fans for noticing a lack of respect towards the source material.

I may have missed it watching the movie, but did Peter explain why he had to take the evil guys with him to Happys to save them?
Why couldn’t he have just created the cure and injected it while they were still caged?
I enjoyed the movie tho
I assumed it was because Peter didn’t know how long Strange would be webbed up in the portal and didn’t want to stick around too long in the basement of the Sanctum

Man, your takes are weird, yet I sort of understand them.
But still, weird.
Peter has been in multiple teams, it only makes sense. And the MCU has turned him into a foil for the overly serious people like Strange. It works well.
I don’t mind Spider-Man occasionally teaming up with the remaining Avengers going forward (which they left the door cracked by showing Happy remembers Spider-Man) and as their equal rather than some dumb kid but I am really happy they will no longer have Peter so intertwined with Tony and all the Stark tech running around like Iron Man Jr. I know now this entire trilogy was one big origin story but the last third of this movie was when Holland FINALLY started to feel like the real Spider-Man to me dealing with his losses and the sacrifice he makes because of them. That’s the Peter Parker I’ve been wanting to see the whole time so it was a nice payoff.
I absolutely love the decision to wipe the slate clean going forward with Spider-Man back to being a street level vigilante and they can really go any direction from here with so many great villains that we haven’t seen in a movie yet. I really hope Marvel/Sony can continue working together and get another trilogy with Holland now as a full fledged Spider-Man

This. Nothing wrong with Spidey teaming up with Daredevil and other heroes in his lane, but move on from the Junior Iron Man and Avengers second-string storylines.
