I dont think Marvel has gone backwards in their story once in the MCU unless you count Captain America taking place during WW2 as going backwards in time.
I'd be shocked if it wasn't post-endgame timeline.

I'd bet the house on this movie featuring scenes from prior and post-Infinity/Endgame.

Technically ant man and the wasp, and captain marvel have/will. But ant man ended right were IW ended and I expect captain marvel to provide us with a bridge between IW and endgame

Absolutely. But I want the marvel movies to be consistent with whatever happens in endgame. If we get "we can manipulate time whenever now so we can still get all of these movies with characters who died in endgame" I will be incredibly angry. I want this movie to have consequences

I'm pretty cynical when it comes to the Hollywood SJW stuff. But I took MJ's line as a poke at that type of thing - almost an anti-PC jibe. She gives a typical proto-feminist line after PP says she looks pretty, "Therefore I have value?" And then let's him off the hook, "I'm just messing with you." Sort of gives the message, "isn't that kind of stuff ridiculous?" That's how I took it, anyway. I like her take in MJ so it didn't bother me a bit.

Oh I don't think they'll do that. Endgame will definitely have consequences. I'm just saying that the timeline as it exists now could be quite different after Endgame.

I don’t see why that’s a bad thing. Syndrome (which is the angle I think they’re going with), Dr Octopus, and Loki were very hokey, but they’re great villains. Vulture was a little of that as well. Mysterio is a showman, so his appearance here makes sense.

MJ is a new character. Her name isn't Mary Jane. It's Michelle Jones. LINK
Also, I'm not sure why Flash's race would matter. He's a dude who bullies Peter in high school and eventually becomes Venom. If you were going to complain about anything I would think it would be about changing him from a football star to a smart rich kid (which kind of makes sense b/c they are all attending a science and tech magnet school in the movie).
The only thing I could think of that would make his race matter is if Marvel was going to adapt that weird arse Howard the Duck story line where Lea Thompson is his aunt and is abducted by Mojo so she can play Beverly Switzler on a sitcom about Howard the Duck. LINK
