I know that dipshit. I'm talking about people in today's society that would be wanting to protest about the 2 black guys using an Afro pick. I laughed my arse during the movie. Society today views older movies like those comedies as our dated.

It doesn’t seem like you know that. I don’t think many (if any) people at all would be mad about that.

Dipshit.

There is no way that Mel Brooks would be allowed to do half the comedic dialogue and set ups from when Spaceballs came out in 1987 for today's audience.

There certainly won’t be a problem with MB not being able to do anything edgy here because nothing edgy will ever be attempted. Josh Gad isn’t writing anything that makes an LA producer uncomfortable. I expect a few Yiddish jokes and “fighting fascism”.

Why does everyone hate Josh Gad? He was in Book of Mormon, that’s not exactly politically correct

cautiously optimistic as long as Mel Brooks is heavily involved (and it seems like he may be)

Mel Brooks is 98. I'm not sure how actually involved he can be.

No Joan Rivers as Dot Matrix
No Barf
No Dick van Patten
No Pizza the Hut
Didn't know Brenda Strong (Sue-ellen Mishke) was one of the nurses.
Has Prince Valium (Jim J Bullock) had a job since then ? After Too Close for Comfort.

If I remember right, he went completely left loon during Covid and had a screaming breakdown somewhere along the line... Also, believe there was some sense of entitlement because he voiced the thing in Frozen.

Again, vaguely remember. I don't pay attention tot he guy or anything like that, but believe that is where the hate stems from.

Shitting on religions is politically correct for Hollywood.
Even the weird ones.

There’s been a poor track record of long overdue sequels.
