I'm through 2 episodes, chuckled plenty but haven't gotten a good deep laughter yet.

The Joint Chiefs are pretty damn good, Jane Lynch in particular. Also the Angry Young Congresswoman is funny.

Good grief, what a snowflake. When your life sucks so bad that you gotta blame liberals because you didn't laugh at a TV show, then its time for an internal evaluation. It's not Netflix's fault.

If you were expecting this to be on the level that most people hold The Office, then that's your fault for having unrealistic expectations. This show was decent enough. I'd watch a 2nd season.

The monkey space walk got me a few times.

The absurdity of the whole exercise was hilarious imo.

Never mind the fact that even people who looooove The Office tend to agree the first season was nowhere close to it'd best with some even saying it's one of it's worst.

Very few comedies hit the ground running. Most usually don't hit their stride until midway through season 2 or the start of season 3.

Yeah given Greg Daniels' history of meh first seasons with The Office and Parks and Rec, I'd be willing to give a 2nd season a shot for sure.

I love the office and I love the first season. Never understood the complaints on this board.

In one act, Carell and Malkovich put a character in her place, who was clearly a sendup of AOC. Right from her opening words, it was obvious the intent was for the viewer to dislike her. So, unless she suddenly changed political sides over the weekend, the liberal circle-jerk you're implying about this show is greatly exaggerated...

I'm enjoying it, looking forward to S2.

I'm watching that scene right now. It's pretty good but they're making the AOC clone way too centrist. That bitch is so far left she's forgotten her right side.

Greg Daniels tries his best not to offend people. Conservatives can laugh at the AOC parody while the liberals aren't offended since it mimics her looks and mannerisms, not her policies.

Yeah sure, but will this show make it this long? This isn't the mid-2000s before with network TV. I haven't met a single person (who I knew wasn't lying) that watched the Office religiously since the first season.

Nowadays, shows on both network TV and streaming services can canned way easier if they don't have good ratings or viewership.
