I agree with him. The season 1/2 stuff has aged very poorly. I can't even watch it now.
Its so closely tied to the time period -- EXTREEEEEME stuff, Jerry Springer, WWF Raw...all of that stuff in retrospect is awful.

I think actually that's what makes it so good. Sure, it's cruder, doesn't "look" as good. It's definitely South Park "raw" if you will, but damn those are great episodes. Season 2 is one of my faves
