Bending the knee or coming to the realization that being one-sided for so long starts to affect the bottom line?
I've got no issue at all with South Park making fun of Trump. It just becomes stale and boring if they keep going to that well, like the Garrison seasons where he portrayed Trump.
South Park still does a good job at making fun of everything and everyone and I would still watch if I had cable or a Paramount+ subscription.

This is such a weird melt and makes me sad for comedy. Maybe stick to forwarding funny emails with subject lines that state "FWD: FWD: FWD: FWD:"

This deal was primarily for the streaming rights for the show's back catalog. They aren't being paid $1.5 B just for 50 new episodes.
The entire back catalog of South Park episodes, plus 5 more seasons, may be worth that (I don't know), but that has nothing to do with how relevant new episodes are. I'm sure they would have gotten that much from a different service if Paramount wasn't willing to pay it.
I guess we'll see what happens at the end of those 5 years. If all they're going to do is hang their hat on Trump jokes, it's hard to imagine them getting another big payday like that.

It definitely wouldn't be difficult to do better than jokes about Trump's penis. That's for sure. I doubt there's a person who visits this entire website who couldn't do better than that. Would be hard to find 5 people walking down the street who aren't that funny.

Eh...not really the point. Jokes about Trump's penis are like the go-to for the left, because they can't attack him on literally any policy positions since his policies keep working and succeeding for the country. At one point during his first presidency there was a whole thing where people were sharing Mario memes about Trump because someone said his penis was shaped like a mushroom.
It's played out and lazy. This is an instance where it's simply not edgy at all to go there. It's boring.

Although, I do think it's funny that they're going after Charlie Kirk. I guess they think he's some kind of iconic conservative. He's actually a massive fgt..

Charlie Kirk does an incredible job defending conservative ideals and beliefs. It's weird that they have him on stage with PC principal though.
