This singular quote will keep them doing the storyline for another two years.
The whole point is to piss you off. If they are making fun of you and you are getting upset, they’ve succeeded.
Stop taking a cartoon seriously, if South Park upsets you, it’s your fault
quote:
Only butthurt here is you and your little sycophantic buddies who cry and bitch because dear leaders keeps getting shat on all because he continues to be an international disgrace
Both of these posts are so far off the mark that it’s actually humorous. And every poster parroting these talking points sounds as stupid as the last one who said the same shite.
I’m not pissed off or butthurt or anything like that. I am annoyed that this season is just not funny, and even more sad that it feels like M&T simply don’t give a shite about making it good anymore. That’s my gripe with it. Like I’ve said numerous times, Trump is an easy target. So by all means, make fun of him. But for frick’s sake at least make it funny and entertaining. And what they’ve done this season just plain isn’t either of those. It’s unfunny, not clever, and fricking lazy.
Even if they are doing it on purpose to try to prove some ridiculous point, it’s failing with me and most viewers it seems. Sure, I’ll always watch because I’m a lifelong SP fan, literally since the first episode aired. I’ve watched the show for literally more than half of my life. But that doesn’t mean it’s beyond reproach and infallible.
IMO this was the worst episode in a while. I’d rather watch a two hour Tegridy Farms episode than this week’s episode, and TF is just plain bad.
And what’s weird is that I think most of the ones making the comments quoted above already know that and are just saying dumb shite because they like drama. So in all honesty, ny least favorite thing about this season is that it seems to have brought a lot of idiocy from the PT Board to the M/TV Board. And that fricking sucks.

Absolutely nobody has mentioned the Poli board here.

Thought the first 2 episodes of this season were good, all downhill since. The shock value of AI trump and the sadam trope with trump were good IMO. The rest of it since then has fallen flat. The chatgpt bit a few weeks ago was good and classic south park IMO

I said I was stepping away from this season… but stupid me… I did not want to miss (finally) a boys-centered episode.
What we got was a good half-episode centered on the betting app… and a horrible half-episode resembling a bad imitation of a Looney Toons short.
Regardless of the targets, the whole “let’s set traps that accidentally spring on the same victim over and over” gag is something that was played out in the 1940’s. They had three weeks to do this episode. That’s the best they could come up with?
That half of the episode was weak, repetitive, and uncreative. If someone can’t see that Matt and Trey have lost their fastball, then I don’t know what to tell them. This season has been a near-total letdown with about 20 total minutes of funny material.
