I watched this based on your recommendation and it felt like a home run.
Thanks

On last 2 episodes of 100 Days My Prince. Loving it! Story flows quickly, not a lot of in depth 2nd and 3rd character stories that sometimes drag on, very likable female lead, some Josean political drama that I could actually follow. Charming story.

I've been watching Devil Judge on Netflix and it's really good.
It's like Batman meets Daredevil meets Beauty and the Beast meets a Few Good Men
And it's not sci-fi

How are you liking Miraculous Brothers?

Just finished this recently. Agree it's a good series but at 16 episodes it was loaded with a lot of fluff and could have been pared down easily to 14 or fewer episodes.

I feel that way about 90% of the time with k shows.

My wife and I enjoyed Extraordinary Attorney Woo.
Apparently that show was #1 in ratings nearly every week in South Korea, and caused huge upswings in the sale of the main character's favorite food as well as an ancient tree being designated a national monument after hundreds of visitors started to visit after it was featured on an episode.
It's also one of the shows specifically mentioned as being part of the reason for the "Korean Wave" - the global increase in influence of Korean culture globally.
I think I saw somewhere that at least 10 countries were looking into making their own adaptations (though I dunno about that - for every "The Office" you get an aborted remake like the one they tried with "The IT Crowd").

How old is your daughter? I have a 17 year old who doesn’t watch Korean shows (or much tv at all) but I really want her to watch Twinkling Watermelon so I’m suggesting it to you if y’all haven’t watched it. I think it’s perfect for all ages.
22 and loves kdrama, but none of her friends do.
None of them will watch foreign shows and subtitles.
She got 1 person to watch moving.
I think Parasite was her first foreign language movie.
Got her to watch Dark and Drops of God and now we hardly ever watch American now.
Though we are ready for curb your enthusiasm.
Twinkling Watermelon we will get to eventually.

Same here about watching mostly foreign shows, though I do want to watch The Bear now that we have Hulu.
I just started Lost (Korean, not the US show) and I feel like it’s going to be amazing. Has anyone seen it?

It's been ok but I have paused it for now.
I really wanted to watch The Worst of Evil.
And I am loving it.
Finished episode 9 .Wow what an episode.
After taking a peak at episode 1 I just can't stop watching it.

Just the final episode to go.
I'm on the fence with this one.
See how it plays out.

Just finished Devil Judge
It’s really good through 10 episodes and then takes off to S-Tier GOAT status from episodes 11-16.
It’s like Batman meets A Few Good Men and Beauty and the Beast

I’ll add it to my list.
I recently watched Lost/Human Disqualification on Prime about people whose lives aren’t turning out the way they envisioned and they’re feeling dissatisfied and unfulfilled. Normally when a show is that good I’m rushing to get to the next episode but I enjoyed watching this one at a very leisurely pace. I would often rewind to watch a different character in a scene because so much of the story was told through expressions or characters just going through the motions. It has a similar vibe to My Mister.

Finally got around to watching Arthdal chronicles.
Absolutely loved it.
Taealha is one of my favorite all time characters. shite was always going down when she was in the scene.
Felt lost the night after finishing.
Finished season 1 of Missing-The Other Side.
Was an interesting show, though I hate when there is 1 episode with too much damn crying.
Just started 1st episodes of The Atypical Family and A Shop for Killers.
Almost forgot about chicken nugget.
4 episodes in I think.

It's a shame people don't give it a chance because they don't want to read subtitles.
I have no problem reading subtitles.
Even in English I use them.
My problem(as racist as it might seem) is how often the actors look alike. I need other context clues to identify them.

People will laugh but that is a issue for me too. Half the time, I am like, is that the same guy?

So true, especially the Josean era shows. I swear all the government officials have that same goatee, are all older gentlemen, it’s almost impossible to tell them apart. And I rarely know any of the characters’ names, so that doesn’t help either, lol.
On another note, just finishing up Queen Of Tears. Amazing, compelling show with a top notch cast. One of the best shows I’ve seen in awhile.

It’s a problem for me too and I usually use asianwiki or My Drama List to help sort people out. It often takes a few episodes though.

I don’t know how I missed this recommendation (or maybe forgot it) but I agree. Home run.
I just started Alice in Borderland and like it so far but is it basically Squid Games?
Has anyone watched the second season of Arthdal Chronicles and care to review?
