I've only seen her in GOT and to me she was about the least impressive actor out of the whole cast. Not counting characters that were around for one or two scenes. Out of the main cast she wasn't very good. Bran was wooden but that was his character arc.

Maybe she has gotten better with experience but she doesn't make me want to watch Tomb Raider but to be fair, I can't think of a single actress that would make me interested in that property.

And Amazon has bungled their major IP badly to this point with a few exceptions but I have almost zero faith in them.

It’s already been done twice. What happened to writers and directors taking pride in doing original work?

She was even worse as Dark Phoenix

Are there not enough stacked actresses in Hollywood these days?

I can't think of a worse casting choice. Turner is a dogshit actress (go watch dark phoenix if you dont believe me) and she is not a physical performer at all.

Everything amazon makes is shite, so this is par for the course

Not a great actress and looks nothing like the part.

Guessing they got her on the cheap.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge being the showrunner is a much bigger indicator that this will be absolute arse than Sophie Turner being Lara Croft.

Thought she got shite canned for not producing a script or even a treatment in 5 years.

You are right. I wiped Dark Phoenix from my memory.

I think she's fine though. I'd take her as Lara again in a heartbeat.

Same. the movie sucked, but I felt she looked the part

The part of the new Nathan Drake ripoff Lara, to be clear.

The classic
explorer/artifact hunter Lara, Jolie was far and away the perfect visual choice

Is she getting breast implants?

She won't have to. Following in the spirit of Angelina Jolie, her body can be modified after the movie is in the can to enhance with the good Lord gave her of what he forgot to give her.

Is she the cute chick from The Man from UNCLE? If so, she's a doll.

Well that sounds stupid. It’s like Amazon intentionally screws up it’s own shows.
