In last night's episode the club is involved in a shootout on a California highway with literally hundreds of eyewitnesses and yet when they return to the club its like nothing had happened. IRL there would have been three SWAT teams surrounding their compound within the hour.

let's not forget about the fact that the airbags didn't deploy and the dead guys in the suv looked like they were in a drive-by but they forget about the car wreck at the end.

I'm watching to see how this all plays out and overall the plot is solid but damn if the writing doesn't provide a "WTF" scene every week.

i agree. however i am trying to figure out if i watch the show because i enjoy mocking the wtf scenes or i am still interested in the show.

They screwed up by bringing this Clay should die scenario into the show way too early. For 4-5 episodes we have been waiting for the climatic ending and well now it's been dragged on far too long.

due to the fact that clay's murder has been spelled out for us, i fully expect sutter find a way to drag his death on for at least another season.

SOA requires a major disconnect from reality. I actually think the style of the show and content around the story lines is really good, but the action scenes are so over the top it takes away from the particularly good elements of the show - the characers, plot, etc.

I think the show could still be very gritty even if Kutter could reign the action scenes in a tad.

that is exactly what aggravates me. there is plenty there to have a great show. the cheesy shite and huge holes in the story line change the show from great to laughable.

Bobby and Tig shot the porn director in the last episode and they were never questioned although it was clear the club was to blame. I could go on and on.

Exactly. There were women in the studio who could easily ID Tig, Bobby and Opie for this shooting and yet nothing becomes of it.

Yeah there's no way clay dies on Tuesday, they've made it too obvious.

I noticed that too. Jaxs said something about setting that up, so no there were not hundreds of witnesses.

So they got the call that they needed to escort Tig back, found dozens of cars and all 10 of the SOA guys lined them up on the highway and staged the car wreck that they were lined up for...in the matter of, I dunno, less than an hour..

That what you're tellin' me?

I finally watched this last night.

Jax shoots Opie in the hand to keep him from finishing off Clay and now Jax wants to kill him?

And the previews show Jax with a knife to an awake Clay's throat? Not Jax injecting blood thinner into a sleeping Clay's IV?

Tig kills an innocent woman because Jax and Unser lied to the club?

Lenny saves the club from the feds, but the Cartel leads them into the meet with the Irish anyway?

Sutter must be punishing everyone for that stupid fight between FX and DirectTV.

I hope the finale comes through... because this episode was pretty fricking awful.
