If they do anything I think a movie about the clubs founding and story up to the death of Jax's dad would be a great idea. It's too good of a story to not tell and a lot of people want to hear it.

That would be awesome. I also wouldn't mind seeing a mini-series with Flannigan, Coates, and Smits set a few months post Jax that shows the clubs direction and the fallout from this season. The acting would be better for sure with Hunnam out the way.

The sprawling ballad was was recorded by Sons of Anarchy's in-house band, the Forest Rangers, and sung by Jake Smith, a.k.a. the White Buffalo, while the lyrics were penned by the show's creator, Kurt Sutter.

If Sutter would have had the final scene of Able wearing the Sons ring and fading to black that would work with a mini series opening up with a grown up Able still wearing the ring and now a leader in SAMCRO.

There would be a lot of options with a miniseries, the prequel would probably be my favorite way for them to go but I think anything else happening is unlikely

well that would pretty much have rendered your series finale pointless

If they dont do the prequel, i think sutter would be wise to atleast release the teller diaries as some sort of book.

Yes, for shock value... and so they could show the other clubs that they went to kill Jax as a result of the mayhem vote, that he fought them off, and ended up dying while running from the cops.
it was shock value. they could have shot happy in the arm a ton of ways that wouldve made more sense than tig and happy holding jaxs shoulder while chibs levels the gun.
tig and jax supporting happy wouldve made more sense (and confused the hell out of fans for a second) but they wanted viewers to believe jax was at the end. there was no other value to doing it that way.

I was rooting for Jax to shoot Tig in the head when they were all hugging and saying their goodbyes. Tig deserved it since he was the catalyst that started the demise of Jax.

I think it's because SOA is the first show I've ever watched in real time from beginning to end, and I think BB is the GOAT by a mile, but the ending of the series for this one sucks more than any other show I've watched.
Usually I'll watch a season or two and if I'm not enthralled with the show at that point, I let the internet decide if I should pick it back up. BB just kind of got tossed to the side for unknown reasons

I'm still trying to decide how I feel about the finale. It was a vintage SOA episode...porn scene, ridiculous car chase, Jax having a master plan/outsmarting his enemies, graphic violence, and a montage. Things I didn't like...there was zero suspense if Jax was gonna die, the scene with Jax saying goodbye to his kids didn't land nearly as hard as they wanted to, and to have such a horrible special effect as the closing shot of the series...ugh. The Christ imgery...ugh.
I'm gonna miss the show, wish they would've had just a few more moments with the surviving characters, especially Wendy, Nero, and the kids, to kind of indicate what they were going to do after the credits rolled.
Watched it late last night and this is pretty much how I feel. As shitty as it has been the past few seasons, I'm actually going to miss the car chases, daylight mass murders, music montages and Jesus Christ.
Didn't read through the whole tread but few questions:
1. I forgot what happened to the Grim Bastards? Why would he want to join SamCro if he was leader of another gang?
2. Jax hurt leg was nothing?
3. Nero getting the tools was nothing? Him just wanting to steal some stuff for the farm?
It has been fun guys, these threads always made my Wednesday mornings full of laughs.

I could just picture sutter writing that final scene "brah this is so fricking genius! You think people will get the subtle nature of what I'm trying to say here? This is fricking brilliant brah!"

I'll forever hold on to seasons 1-2, which was some of the best TV I've ever seen.

Lin told Juice, right before Juice killed him.

Who the hell was that homeless lady? Was she just some sort of strange guardian angle?
Was it ever said?

It was good stuff. Season 3 finale was top notch too, now that was a good music montage.

What I learned last night:
If they voted Jax was to meet his fate at the hands of Mr. Mayhem, and Vic Mackey ended up being the one to kill Jax....
Then Vic Mackey = Mr. Mayhem
