Fassbender, Hardy, and Lewis? They didn't want to add the other British members of the cast of Band of Brothers?

I've always thought Paul Blackthorne had a Connery look about him and would be a perfect Bond replacement..

I'd rather him be asian or Indian than ginger.

Stringer Bell would be waaaaaaay better

I actually think McNulty, who is British, would be a pretty good Bond.

I said it in the last Bond thread, and I'll say it again. Despite being a diehard Bond purist. Elba is starting to grow on me. But if he has to be white, and Fassbender won't do it. This guy gets my vote.
Henry Llyod-Hughes
He is 29, so young enough to play the role for many years to come. He also looks a bit like Sean Connery, tall with a similar build, and has a bit of the same jawline. He honestly looks like the love child offspring of Connery and Ralph Fiennes.
Btw, Bond with a stache? Would be pure awesomeness.

Michael Fassbender would be unbelievably awesome.

We need to have a movie in which James Bond meets a live action Sterling Archer

Tom Hardy (4/1)
Michael Fassbender (7/1)

Screw it, if they can't get Idris Elba then they should go for Simon Pegg.

If youre going to go Elba might as well give it the full p.c. reboot

I'd take Benedict Cumberbatch over Orlando Bloom

Idris Elba would be great, but it would need to happen with the quickness b/c he is already in his 40's and thus only a few years younger than Craig. He is probably my first pick, if they do it fast enough. Isn't Damien Lewis about the same age? Not sure what the advantage there would be.
Michael Fassbender or Tom Hardy would both be excellent and are a few years younger.
I would not want to see Cavill b/c he is already associated w/ an iconic role.
F*ck Orlando Bloom. And Daniel Day Lewis has to be a joke, dude is like as old as Pierce Brosnan.

This board has a massive case of hive mind regarding Bond. On both sides of the debate.
Has everyone forgotten that most Bond actors are relative nobodies? I still don't think a true A-lister would take it. Fassbender has outgrown it more than likely, Hardy definitely has. Elba has derided large franchise movies before, despite his marvel role.
They will probably go back to the unknown well again. However, the ranks of young British actors who fit the bill is kinda thin outside of the A-Listers.
I could see Lewis as a possibility, he just fits the role of a villain more.

you really think Elba would turn down being the first black bond? I'd be shocked if he was offered.
And Damien Lewis isn't very big. Homeland and Band of Brothers? I'd hardly call him an A lister.
Besides Sir Sean, where does everyone rank the bonds? Do you think Craig is the legit #2? I don't think Brosnan was as bad as people say, he just got stuck in some really shitty bond movies. You could say that about Dalton too though I guess. Least favorite for me is Roger Moore, hands down.
