That show is solid gold. Can’t believe I managed to go this long without seeing it.

One of my favorite scenes of Rick and Morty

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid

So only women with IQs between 40 and 50?

Perfect copypasta, except real internet copypasta only consists of the real emo copypasta, the D.C. emotional hardcore scene, and the late 90’s screamo copypasta scene. What is known as the Rick & Morty fan copypasta is not real copypasta and contains questionable copypasta influences...

Watch the first threes seasons and get over it. The latest season is not good. It's just a lot of callbacks and rehashing.

I think you already know what gif response you're getting....

Yeah, I liked that one, but the callbacks are obviously the result of things that were popular being fed back to us again and again, like the Meseeks, etc.
Dan Harmon being a piece of shite also doesn't help me.

The dragons being slut-shamed was hilarious.

This reminds me of the Christopher Nolan fanboy thread last week where someone compared them to TOOL fans . This is exactly something a TOOL fan would post. Just sub Dan Harmon for Maynard. And say something about how they use mathematics to write songs, blah, blah, blah...
Nolan/TOOL/R&M super fans are just about the exact same people.
I think Rick and Morty is a great show btw. Last season was a let down as someone already mentioned.
