Exactly. It more about penquin wanting attention and being loved. You saw how quickly he latched on to his father for a few episodes. He is a mentally disturbed person by the way

Robin Lord Taylor has done an amazing job as Penguin. And he's also gay IRL, so I wonder if that had anything to do with the story arc.

Season 4 has been the best season so far by far and it is a pretty solid show if you are into fantasy/comic book genres. Honestly, Bruce isn't even the highlight of the show.

The guy playing Bruce is the worst actor in the series by a factor of 100.
I thought the gay twist with penguin fit the plot very well.
